Thanks for that cratebeast. I knew there was but couldn't find it. So we will get at least 2 of those 3.

So we have:
@Arizona > Arizona on neutral
@Xavier > Xavier at home
Illinois = Illinois
NC State >= OSU
Big 12 matchup <> @OU
2 of UNC/KSU/Northwestern > Purdue
Yeah, the OOC next year looks to actually be tougher, particularly if we draw UNC in the tourney.

J3, Gant can get some valuable time in the weight room
I really think before their careers are over, Gant will be the better player. We've seen 2 years of J3 and he's just so one dimensional on the offensive end. I fully expect Gant to both catch up in the weight room and the speed of the game next year and if that happens, I think his game will ultimately be more well rounded than J3, though J3 will probably always be the better rebounder.

Arizona will be interesting. As they may lose 4-5 key players to graduation/NBA draft

Young guys need to develop. I don't see a difference maker coming in, but hopefully they can help.
Teki- Needs to improve his handles, and be more aggressive towards the rim. Needs to get more loft on his shot.
Wright- needs to be more consistent with his jumper. Also needs to find his way into the lane more instead of hanging around the arc
Gant- needs to get stronger. I think he can be really good when that happens and he becomes more aggressive
J3- he was a mess by the end of the year. I think this was KAs worst coaching job. He kept pushing him to be the scorer on the team and that simply is not his game. Jacking threes or trying to drive the lane was a nightmare. Rebound, play defense and be athletic. Play off your guards. Also needs to get stronger.
Isabell- I'll be in the minority here I'm sure, but I like his game. He's a good shooter. He is quick. He can get into the lane. Needs to work on his handles. Tighten his game up and make better decisions, but he's almost there.
Clark- he's pretty much there imo. He plays winning basketball for the most part.
Just natural progression from these guys and we should be much better, but even with that we are going to be in big trouble if we can't add a competent big for next year.

Definitely agree. Just a little worried about Gant's frame. I don't know if anyone has noticed, but his feet are tiny. Not sure his frame can handle a lot of muscle.

Clark - Thought the kid displayed some heart. The raw emotion after missing the 2 FT's. The hustle play that ended his season. He's not the most talented, but talented enough that with that heart, that I think he'll actually be just fine next year.
I liked Clark from his first interview as a freshman, and even his recruiting pic.
Can see the heart and aptitude for caring in his eyes and face.
If all the good freshman are back, definitely reason for optimism.

Gant is really more of a 3 than a 4, but by necessity that's where he'll play. He'll have to get stronger to do so.

We have a bunch of guys that if you asked me what position they play my answer would be I dunno. Looking at it from a positive sense, that means they have lots of versatility. We really don't have any guys who a clear one position type of player.
Clark - 1/2 - not a pure 1 and not a pure 2
Isabell - 1/2 - might lean a bit more toward a 1
Bello - 1/2/3/??????
Wright - 2/3 - probably leans more to a 2
Teki - 2/3 - hard to call a shooter. hard to call a slasher
Allen - 3/4 - too big for a 3. too small for a 4.
Gant - 3/4 - see Allen
J3 - 3/4/5 - I really don't know what his game is anymore.
Rosburg - The only one that is a pure 1 position player at the 5.

I'm personally a lot higher on Rosburg than a lot of people but man, quit dogging him. He is our only 5. Like it or not, he will be the senior leadership presence next season.

Bello is a WR, he's playing the wrong sport.

He isn't a power 5 center. I'm not sure he's a mid-major center. I don't personally view that as "dogging." It is what it is.
There's a kid on my daughter's HS team that is a helluva HS PG. Already has a couple of D1 offers as a junior. But I don't think he's going to play in a power 5 conference because of his size. He's too small. That's not dogging. It's just reality. With Rosburg, he isn't athletic enough at his size to play his position as a starter on a P5 team. He's not fast enough nor can he jump high enough to compete.

Rosburg is a D2 5.
Trust me. I found the humor in that as I was typing it.

The problem with guys like Rosburg, is they were so good in high school that they never had to work on a low post game. He dominated from shooting and taking people off of the drive. I watched a number of his games in high school, and he rarely, if ever, posted up. Problem is, he doesn't have the athleticism to do that at the D1 level and he essentially has been learning from scratch since he's been at Mizzou.
And it's not just Rosburg. You see it a lot these days. Janko whoever was as tall as they come but never thought of going inside. Rob Loe from SLU was the same way, though he committed to learning it under Majerus. Thon Maker's high lights are mostly outside shots or off the dribble. It took me to 5 minutes into Thomas Bryant's highlights to see him post up and show a move from down low to score. And then the highlights only had a couple more like that. Post play just isn't taught at the high school or AAU level like it used to be.

I think you could say that about the fundamentals at every position. Kobe went on a rant about this about a month ago. It's one of the big things pulling the game down, lack of basketball specific skills.

Sounds like he(N. Wright) will be back next year.
I hope we don't have to play UMKC next year.

Maybe, but at the very least he could come in and play defense and rebound.
He'd be our starting 5 withou mt any doubt whatsoever.
