USC
OM
Mizzou

Oregon and UCLA as well.

We could definitely use him and he would put up big numbers with the WR room we will have next year.

I’d take him as a bridge to Horn

Are we sure he's better than Bazelak? Rattler got benched playing in the soft Big 12, Bazelak did NOT get benched playing in the SEC. Makes you think

yes, we are very sure

If we had Caleb Williams Bazelak would have never been on the field to get benched in the first place.

Even if Bazelak is all healed up, the experiment is over, it wasn't meant to be.

Rattler is not much better but he has more upside.

*edit* - Just saw Quinn Ewers is also transferring. That should be the focus if anyone tbh.

Southlake Carroll kid. Do we even have a shot? He’s looking at Texas teams.

That's my thought, this isn't 2008 when we had a better pipeline, but it should be.

Not directed at you...but why are we suddenly down on Macon?

I'd love to give him all the 1st team reps this next month and see what we got with him in the bowl. If he shows anything than give him the winter/spring to grow into the playbook and let him take a shot next year.

Bc he doesn’t have even remotely what anyone would call a passing game

I don't think we are down on him but you can blame that on Eli. We will never know what he can or cannot do with that short of a leash and that amount of in-game reps.

I don't know how one outside the program would know what kind of passing game he has with only 17 pass attempts. Besides that how many freshman QBs, coming into the SEC, have a college ready passing game to begin with?

He absolutely tore it up in high school and really impressed in the senior year QB camps, so I don't but that all of a sudden he is not good passing the ball.

6'4" Sam Horn wins the 7A GA State Championship next week (Milton will be tough to beat ... loaded with college-bound talent)

... and we don't need Rattler. Either Bazelak heals, Cook gets a shot or it's Horn to learn and grow. Macon shouldn't even be in any conversation except to be a slot receiver.

(Replied to wrong person .. doh)

Rattler has an amazing arm.

He would be a huge upgrade from Bazelak at QB. It probably doesn’t matter because he likely isn’t coming here.

He could also be a huge head case.

But pretending he’s basically Conner Bazelak is silly.

Why should Macon only be in the discussion to be only a slot receiver?

Why do you say that?

It looks like we are in a good spot with him?

That’s just a gut feeling based on Rattler and his ego. His options may be limited based on his attitude issues, however.

There doesn’t seem to be a blue blood type destination for him and we are going to have a very stacked WR room. Plus, Drink is the one doing the recruiting

I would think OM would be our main competitor but Lenny and Gabriel have a history and that seems a logical fit.

I really do see him coming here and it’s going to be fricking glorious

Ever watch him throw? Ever read ANYTHING about his game? That’s why
