....Coach Cross said that Josh Moore has come out of nowhere and has a good chance for it, but it is still open.

I'm curious to see what the case is with Nate Howard. He hasn't been mentioned much in the conversation when it comes to guys getting playing time at DE. He seemed to have a lot of potential in his time last year.

Yes, knee surgery.

He's probably hasn't been mentioned much is because he's just come off surgery and he needs to put on some muscle weight. He's listed on the roster at 235 pounds and that's light for a defensive end.

I think I've heard just about every name now mentioned as coming up for that 2nd DE spot opposite Harris. It will obviously be one of them. Seems to me they are trying to motivate someone to take it by the reigns as no one has yet.

Listening to the Mizzou coaches talk and especially Odom it kind of seems like Ish might be the #1 back. They said that he was the best back in their last scrimmage.

If Ish is the number 1 back, then I'll be both surprised and a little worried. I think he put on 20 pounds from last year, which is good, but watching him try to run the ball was vomit inducing last year. At least we'll have several weapons at that position that can rotate in as the season progresses.
