I couldn't find him in the 2023 football recruiting. I had to go to Rivals, and he was listed as a TE and is in the year 2025. Is that the same one you are talking about?

Probably. He already has a WVU offer.

Dude is fricking fast
This is nice pickup. He won’t stay a 3* for long. A wind-aided 10.37 is really fast. By the time 2023 season starts he will be even faster.

Nicholas Deloach currently unranked WR has committed.

So, we have a bunch of highly rated recruits visit, some of the top in-state talent, and we get an unrated WR that projects to play DB? Strange.

Power Mizzou on DeLoach
"DeLoach was hosted on the trip by freshman cornerback Marcus Scott. He plays both ways for Cahokia and also returns kicks, but the Tigers are look at him on defense.
"I’m tall and long and I’m fast and that’s what they’re looking for in a DB," the 6-foot-1, 170-pounder said. "My receiver skills transfer over to DB."
As much as what DeLoach has done on the football field, his performance on the track is eye-catching. He won the Illinois 2A triple jump as a junior, finished second in the long jump and third in the high jump"
He's a project, but looks like he has potential.

Sounds like Cayden Green really enjoyed the visit, said it's been his favorite official visit - announces July 8th.

SBNation on DeLoach

Newest Mizzou recruit hadn’t been on staff’s radar for long before commitment

When Nicholas DeLoach, Jr. became the sixth member of Mizzou’s 2023 class on Sunday afternoon, I’m sure many Mizzou fans thought the same thing at once: Who?
quote:
I don’t blame you. When DeLoach announced his commitment, I was a little taken aback myself. Unranked by any of the major recruiting services, DeLoach apparently wasn’t on Mizzou’s radar until earlier this spring. Fortunately Bush Hamdan was in St. Charles and took a trip to the newest Division I school in the area. Dave Matter asked DeLoach about it following his commitment.

2 decent commits, but I agree it would be more promising for a couple of the 4*s to get on board
Its still early in the process, the rankings will fluctuate once the fall season starts. Especially these "Unranked/low ranked" guys who are unheard of and committed to big schools, will get ranking boost/evaluated more closely. Some times, these small town guys are not big in the camp scene so they get over looked by recruiting sites.
