Please, I am an "empath" when I feel others heading down the painful rabbit hole (despite warnings) it causes me pain regardless of the radioactive lead protective gear (stolen from my dentist) I wear. The edges of the imminent "nut kick" recruiting storm are apparently arriving a bit earlier than the National Recruiting Safety Bureau projected. Please do not wait till the eye of the recruiting hurricane is over COMO to put on your psychological gonad protction. The sharp sleet mixed with painful pieces of hail disappointment are already showing on the recruiting dopplar radar and being felt by the discerning farmer as the reality of this years crop dying on the vine becomes more real.

Yeah, I'm keeping an eye out but he didn't attack anyone there. It was an attempt at negaTiger humor but he didn't name call. Many of us talk about the kicks to the nuts.

Hello Reedus etal. Well it appears I have touched a few exposed nerves. As no pain was intended, I regret any hurt feelings. I know some will always see what they want to see and that makes them feel good. My intentions are not to cold heartedly make them feel bad by casting potential shade on what otherwise would be their sunshine drenched view.
I have done my best to not personalize my post and have never cursed or used provative aspersions as some have (Ex. The previous "STFU" directed towards me) nor have I retaliated in kind to someone because they disagree with me.
Some may say I am negative. Perhaps I understand them feeling that way albeit not completely accurate. If something is good I don't twist it too be negative. Example being the positive things occuring with the BB program. However, as a rant board there should be some acceptance of views/comments that run contrary to the positive company line.
I use my prose/metaphors as a way not only bring some balance but also a form of a cathartic way to also protect myself from falling down that all too personal rabbit hole my long time MU fanaticism would naturally lead me to. It is my sincere hope that my "balance" may in some way alert a few and hopefully be not only just an accepting fan but one who knows it can and should be better. As true fans we should require it and know it is deserving.
One last analogy, Say you see a loved one/best friend whose partner is mistreating and stepping out on them. You know they must/or should see all the past actions as well as the current signs but their heart won't allow the brain to process so as to see what is really going on. What do you do for this person you really care for? Perhaps some will just mind their own business but some will speak out in hopes of curtailing the harm. Well I guess you can call my "neg" the latter option.
I have been a true MU fanatic since 1975 and an alum since obtaining my J.D from U of M Columbia in 1988. I will still feel the way I do, but in an effort to not step on exposed toes I will make a concerted effort to avoid saying "there is no Santa Claus",

Nobody is telling you that you have to believe everything is sunshine and rainbows but quit posting the same negative shite over and over (you even quoted yourself several times).

Typo not realized till after account finalized and for some reason not able to go back and make an edit correction. I am old school with minimal smart phone equipment, so given my mini keyboard and stubby thumb there have been other errors and more likely to occur in the future. Thanks for going out of your way to "positively" point that out.

Bashing Mizzou is not cool. Bashing Odom is alright with me because he had no head coaching experience before he got the job, fricked up our defense, failed to recruit well, and he was hired by an AD with one foot out the door. He's pretty much just like Kim Anderson. I try not to bash on Odom too much on this board though. My fellow Tigers don't appreciate it, so I usually keep it to myself unless I'm in full on melt mode.

I will take your word for it but if you have a JD, you can understand that we don't know that to be the case versus an alter from another school. Hell, I could be an alter. But when ALL that is spewed is negativity, I think you can understand why some would question.

I truly never appreciated that some may be so fragile & delicate, even so I never was personal and while my opinion on Bo may differ such personalization is not warranted.
I like this board and JQs request that I should leave strikes me wrong.

So since I have been baited into my first post, I will just ask this. Are you this miserable in person? You come off more like a three year old with no patience. Odom might become the greatest tiger coach in history, he might be a bum, and he will likely fall somewhere in between. Your guess is as good as mine, but I choose to hope for the best, root for my team, and support my school. This stuff takes time.

Reedus my last post was directed towards you by mistake. I inadvertently overlooked your previous well thought out explanatory response. (In looking back I think I was composing whole you were posting. Like letters passing each other in the mail)
And yes after doing undergrad in my home city at UMKC I obtained my JD in Columbia in 88 the last class in the old LS right before the new building facilities currently home to the Law school was opened.
