It just amazes me to have the only 3000 yd passer returning with a complete offensive line to protect him and a full compliment of receivers to throw to, a thousand yard rusher that did it in 9 games as a freshman no less, and neither of them get any coaches love from the SEC!

Amazing!

Not really amazing when you consider they went 2-6 in conference and finished last in the SEC East.

I'm optimistic about making a bowl this year, not about undeserved preseason awards and accolades.

There's more too it than yards. The Mizzou offense piled up the yards because of the pace it went. Lock wasn't that efficient as a passer. The offense was really bad in the red zone. Advanced stats say that the OL wasn't really that great, DC was just really good. Problem is that the SEC has a lot of really good RBs.
If Moore, Johnson and Mason do better at catching and holding onto the ball, 1 of them will have a great shot at making all SEC.

The kicking game tubed their overall RZ #s but their 58% TD rate was 4th in the SEC during conference play after being 31% in 2015.

Reminder: Far be it from me since I am a previous offender, just reminding y'all that this is a recruiting thread. Just saying.

Foster threw two TD passes including pretty throw and catch in a 28-13 win in their season opener last night.

Peat has over 500 yds rushing after two games. 190 vs Rockhurst is solid work as well.

Not sure how much was Jarius Maclin but Kirkwood took Jefferson City to the woodshed.

On PM they showed a short video of Lil JMac catching a screen pass inside the 10-yard line for a TD.

Daniel Parker is helping his team get off to a good start. They took down Rockhurst week one and shutdown Lees Summit West.

I was talking to an individual that knows the Thompson family, and they said that while he is getting the full-court press from other schools, his parents are pushing Mizzou.

Get on this kid Mizzou!
The problem is that he's from St. Louis and Mizzou might not be an option.

Haley has as much to sell as any Dline coach in the country. Since returning to college as a DLine coach in 2004, Haley's room has produced 13 NFL draft picks.
Thats 3 more than Kuligowski over the same period.

I would love to get this kid but he is being recruited like crazy. I imagine a tough get though I could be dead wrong.

2019 might be even more talented in Missouri than 2018. BO has to win this year and get some of Babb, Trout, Thompson and Perkins to have much of a shot on the 2019 STL recruits.

The kid is definitely talented, but he was claiming 40+ offers before he even started his JR year.

Not so sure. Would love to have him of course, but a lot happens between now and then.
