It'll be great to have him.
But it's like wishing for a luxury car when you've got a fleet of some really great cars already.
When we got DGB we didn't really need him, but it was a nice luxury to get.
I'm fine with John Johnson being are speedy little guy the next 3 years.

Does anyone know anything about Bama commit Gary Johnson? Was looking at 247 and it shows he has an official visit for the Arkansas game. Haven't heard anything about him..

He is from Birmingham and was a HS wide receiver. Committed to Bama right away. Another Abagsimere, physical freak, but needs to learn the position. Maybe he is getting the cold shoulder from Bama, and we have a chance. Especially with a HC that played LB.

I don't know much about KC area High School football. Is Anthony Payne the kid from Ray-Pec or Eli Ross the kid from Staley underrated?
Could they fit in at Mizzou after being coached up? It sucks when we miss out on KC area players like AJ Taylor or the Davis twins.

Davis twins had an Uncle that played at Nebraska. They wanted to visit Mizzou and possibly switch but Mom would not allow it. They actually had an offical scheduled twice that mom cancelled.
We didn't want Taylor as a RB, we liked him on defense, thats why he went to the nubs.

Watched AJ play last year. He was extremely talented player. He would have been better than Witter and a good mix with Crockett. However, I would've preferred him on defense.
He is the type of player I would like to recruit this year to play CB or at safety.

The coaches must not have been sold on him at RB at all, because they would usually tell a recruit "You tell us what you want to play." They flat out told AJ they wanted him as a db only. RB was not an option.

Ben Hutch just announced a top 3.
We aren't in it. Seemed to be in pretty good shape early, but no doubt this season is not doing much to positively effect kids.
We are now offering Tulane and App St commits. When Pinkel did this, I didn't worry. Let's hope BO has the same ability to mine diamonds.

Thanks, Did you notice that Miami has offered alot of the same recruits regardless of star rating. Find that interesting.
