with no visit scheduled i'd say he won't be a tiger

quote:

"I don't know a lot about Nebraska, but I am interested and want to get out there for a visit," Miranda said. "I have a good feeling about their program, and think I could fit in well there. I might go back to Virginia, Illinois or Missouri."

Scout says we lead for OT Marquis Hayes.

He's obviously a big target for us. Elarbee took the entire OL to meet him at the spring game

We have offered 8 players within 2 hours and fifteen minutes of Columbia. We have offered 10 players within 45 minutes of Tampa, FL and 5 or 6 more within 2 hours. Mizzou has offered more than 20 in Florida and around 40 in Texas.

We have recruiters in Missouri, Illinois, and Texas. Do we have recruiters in Florida and especially in the Tampa area?

Yes, I believe it's the CB coach, guy from Louisville we assigned to Florida. Sorry, can't remember his name at the moment.

Greg Brown is the coach. I read his bio And it says he has 36 years coaching experience. Three of years (84-86) were for the Tampa Bay Bucs. Hopefully he has a relationship with coaches from the area.

I looked at how Loisville recruited while he was there. In 2014 they signed 5 in FL, 2 in GA, 1 in AL. In 2015 they signed 5 in FL, 4 in GA, and 5 in AL. Not for sure if he was the recruiter on all the players, but some them come from the same schools we are recruiting now.

He was also the CB coach at Alabama in 2013.

Either way he's more likely than not JUCO bound, so we'll have 2 more years to recruit him. If his grades are as bad as has been reported, I think we stand a great shot at a sign and place like we've done with Taylor and Strong, Bama doesn't typically do those I don't believe.

If they are as bad as Strong then he could possibly take that route and be out in a year!

So apparently a graduate transfer from OU was visiting this weekend. Ross, RB All American KR. Anyone hear how it went? Maybe all the new OU coaching connections help get this guy.

According to PM, he's got no other visits scheduled and it went very well. Heupel recruited him to OU, so he's got a great relationship with him and knows his offense already. They expect him to commit to us soon.

At the very least, he's a great returner. Something we missed last year with Murph being gone.

He'd definitely help us.
