With 2018 class starting to visit, is it time to start the 2018 thread?

Mizzou made his final 4 and boy can this cat hit! He raps up, too.

Debose was a true diamond when we found him. All the way out in NC too. Now a bunch of other schools have followed our lead. Would love to get him. Monster ceiling.

Unless Haley does a really good sales job, I think he ends up in Blacksburg.

Seems like being close to home was a factor for him.

Still, excellent evaluation by the staff to find this kid in an area we haven't really recruited before.

It could come down to what a couple of VTs other offers at the position do. They have a couple of offers to higher ranked players and a couple in the class already to project at his position.

His length is far from prototypical but you can put him on at LDE and let him tee off. He might struggle a little setting the edge but solid play by the SLB can clean that up.

Hey, Golden is only 6'3" with "short arms"

Sure if you were building a DE from scratch you'd want him to have Alden Smith's body, but some guys outpace body type with skill and motor.

Armstrong is getting a new offer seemingly every day now.

Baylor this time.

Some of the areas talent scouts said he's the second best skill talent in the region behind Jeff Thomas. They compared commit Daron Davis to the former Tiger Jimmy Hunt talent wise.

Scratch OL Jordan Rhodes, just committed to USCe.

Sounds like we can scratch CB Emanuel Dabney. Rumor is we pulled the offer, and if Ole Miss is offering Sparks, they aren't interested in him either.

I'm a little nervous about that since he pinned the tweet saying he was offered by them. He and Miller are our worst-kept secrets

Thomas has turned into quite the attention whore on twitter. I don't think we are missing much here, especially since he won't qualify. Maybe he'll mature and humble himself a bit at JUCO

I think Hill is going to do good things with Armstrong and Davis.

Saw that on twitter. Have not heard his name much. Surprised he is not a ND lock with that surname.

This might be more of a peace-pipe offering to his dad, who has been trying to get Armstrong to consider ND.

I'll bet he's offered a preferred walk-on. We already have 5 OLs in the class.
