Not sure if we have any soccer fans in here and I myself am not one at all. With that being said anytime America can stake claim to the best in the world I will celebrate it. Good job ladies! USA USA USA!

Not a huge soccer fan. World Cups are mostly what I'll watch as far as soccer goes.

But what a game and statement made by the womens team yesterday. I went away impressed. I think the first three goals had Japan in shock. They didn't know what hit them. Then that midfield goal. Holy crap! I was in shock at that point. The womens U.S. soccer team left no doubt who is the best in the world, hands down no argument.

My brother and his fiancee went to BC for their honeymoon and got tickets to the game. They said they have never seen such an atmosphere.

They met up with our cousin and her SO, who also headed up and from what I was told they had quite the time afterwards at the same place as some of the players who were celebrating.

Man I try telling people this. Ive been to half a dozen world series games, all star game, NBA playoffs, NHL playoffs, EVERYTHING.

Nothing comes even close to the atmosphere in a premier league match in the middle of the season.

I agree. My wife's family's home team was Sheffield Wednesday and even though they weren't top tiered it was still unbelievable to sit at a game.

Duke fan, eh? Thoughts on our mutual target Tatum?

Going to Duke will not increase Tatum's draft stock. The question is whether he wants to make a run at a natty or does he want to change a program.

I'm a Mizzou fan first and foremost, but I grew up a Duke BB fan, and haven't changed yet from supporting them during the tournament.

He might just want to get away from home. I hope he chooses the best program for himself.

I remember when the Tigers played Duke in the 2001 NCAA Tournament. What a powerhouse Duke team that was.Tigers hung with them for most of the game, but Duke was just too much.
