The last two teams we have had (this year and last year) are guys comprised mostly of Mizzou's two worst recruiting classes of the last 10 years. So I say we can. But if we ever want to win a NC then recruiting needs to get better. Specifically making sure our guys from in state do not leave.

I agree, we have to keep instate and metro KC/STL kids from leaving. We do that and we're golden.

4* DT Darrion Daniels has cancelled his visit for Saturday. The early start time means he can't make it on time. Hopefully he will reschedule for another time, but so far has not done that.

I think they do a good job with their own internal grading system. Some of these kids just aren't game ready coming out of HS and that's what development and Dr. Ivey is for.

I could be wrong, but I think we've always been bottom 1 or 2, not bottom 4. But those classes would just now be seeing time I suppose.

New offer out to FL CB/WR Javon Hammond May not be offer yet but we are talking to him according to his twitter page.
Nobody has him rated and his only offer is Western Kentucky. Not exactly inspiring but they must see something in him.
Here's the Hudl highlights. I watched a bit and can't say it's all that impressive.
(His video starts with shoving a player out of bounds, punt coverage tackle and a 15 yard first down. I wish these kids realized you put the best stuff at the front.)

Also visiting this weekend is JUCO OT Malik Cuellar.
Not rated but is 6-5 290lbs and 4.9 in the 40. Great stats.

Cuellar is a 3* on Rivals and a JUCO 50 player on ESPN. He seems legit, hope we land him.

We need him. I'm just nervous about our depth at DE next year. Is Loud ready for starter reps? Heck, is Harris even ready? Any clue what we have behind them?

Nothing but freshman unfortunately. We are looking at several JUCO DE's though, and from what I've heard we want 2 if possible to add depth. We should be able to land that. If we can't that's really pathetic.

Plus Hatley can move to the outside if necessary. Coach K will have Williams and McWilliams ready for snaps next year.
