I wouldn't say you are a Debbie downer, just someone who doesn't know what they are talking about, at least in this case.

We made Takkarist McKinley's top 10. 4* Juco DE.
Reedus, Bri and Cierra are sisters. I believe that is a 5* and a 4*. Sophie Cunningham (I believe a 5*) is Lindsey's sister. All of the Porter kids will probably be 4* or higher. The oldest ones are just now entering college. I don't remember the exact number of kids, but I think at least 5. I also don't remember the breakdown between boys and girls. It is a good family to have on our side right now.

Also saw we missed on Omari Stringer. Indiana instead.

Don't know how heavy Mizzou was after them, but few kids with offers that committed elsewhere.
Locke to Oregon. That's Locke with an "e" and he plays safety.
Hilliard (OH) linebacker to tOSU.
Cornell (MN) DE to tOSU.

I'm just eager to go out on the field and kick some arse. The off season is making me antzy. If they can prove it on the field these recruits have to come eventually right?

#Mizzou freshman WR Keyon Dilosa had surgery for a ruptured right achilles on Monday and will miss the 2014 season, a spokesperson confirms.
Apparently, the options at WR keep getting thinner.

Feel bad for the kid, but he was the lowest rated WR at 2*, so he wasn't going to play this year anyways. Gotta keep Brown/Blair/Lee healthy IMO.

George Brown tweeted a top 5 and we're not in it. Gabe thinks he's going to UK. Our recruiting is kind of in the shitter at the moment.

They are certainly falling off of the big board pretty quickly. Our first 9 (assuming none flip) are pretty damn strong. Frankly, football season can't get here fast enough. I really wish these guys would wait until the season is over. If we can follow up last year with anything resembling it, I think it would give recruiting a boost.

I'm gonna guess that we won't land any of the "top" WR recruits. Purely speculating here, but Kalif Jackson, a 3* out of Florida, had been pretty high on Mizzou for a long time. I think we had backed off of him, focusing on Ofodile and some others. Somewhat quietly, Rutgers and Vandy came into play, and probably favorites for Jackson. He had been set up to announce his commitment this past week. He has now pushed that back. What I'm hoping? Hoping that means Mizzou circled back after losing Ofodile and Boykin and put a push on for Jackson. Kid is 6'5" 200. My hopes at least.
Have also heard before that we are in the running for Devonte Peete, a 4* out of Florida, but my guess is that's another one of those nice "also ran" situations.
Another name I think we'd have a shot at is Almonzo Brown, a 3* out of North Gwinnett. Rivals shows an offer. 247 does not. 247 shows some recent predictions to, of all places, Minnesota. Right or wrong, what that tells me, is Brown is not adverse to leaving Georgia and coming to the midwest. We all know the in roads Mizzou has made there with Nate Brown and Imatorbhebhe.
Just a couple of realistic hopefuls. I just don't think any of the other "big" names are coming this way at the WR position.
