Just before NSD, Minnesota convinced him he'd be their next QB, so he flipped.
Never got a sniff at QB, but is now their go to WR.
None of our 2nd or 1st year WRs have stepped up. This is the guy that would have.

They will all be making their visit with strong verbal commits AJ Harris, Chase Abbington and Ronnell Perkins. Hopefully they can convince some of these guys to sign on.
Out of that group, I expect Doherty may verbal on Saturday. Apparently he didn't like Oregon all that much and it is down to Mizzou and Oregon for schools he is considering.

If they're coachable they should be running to Mizzou.
Are they twins or just brothers? What a story that could make for Mizzou in the high profile SEC!

JUCO OT Tyler Howell is still visiting this weekend and it's thought that Mizzou wants both him and Cullear. Remember, Cullear counts against last year's class since he's an early enrollee.
As far as WR, we're currently after JUCO Autry, HS Pinkney, and most likely is HS Julis. He's supposed to be good enough to start at the slot from day one. Also, Brian Jones visited 4* WR Ryan David from Florida this week. He has said he wants to visit Mizzou and keeps saying he's wide open with his recruitment. We would only take one if Julis or Davis.

Wondering if this kid might also be being looked at for the d-line-according to his coach, that's where he started out and was switched because of need at the OT position last season.

Oh yeh that's most of it. But I get the impression most of that is from Mom. I think the kids want out of NU with the coaching change and they have made that pretty clear. Are you on PM too? If you are, you're reading the same posts I am. It sounds to me like they are an MU lean. If our coaches can get their crap together and not screw this up, I think the twins are Mizzou's to lose at this point. Just my impression from reading the posts and article. She can try to sway them, but if they are as discontent with NU as they say they are, I don't know how persuasive mom can be.

Oh I'm excited if Raequon Williams is still coming. From earlier talks it sounded like his mind was all but set on MSU. If he's visiting still, it tells me he's obviously at least thinking about it. Maybe back to back SEC defensive players of the year will do that to a kid.
