A couple of questions...

- Has Missouri been recruiting any bigger backs in the 210+ lb range?

- Are they recruiting any beefy, space eating DTs to use in certain situations?

Thanks.

I know we had recruited Markel Smith at Vianney who's a bigger back but when he didn't commit immediately, we signed 2 other backs and then supposedly when he did want to commit, we told him there was no more room and he committed to Iowa.

As for DT's, we're apparently recruiting a couple of JUCO's. We've also recently gotten in on Daniel Cage out of Cincinnati and we're in his top 5.

Morgan Steward is 220 lbs. Same with White.

How big is a space eating DT? We will have at least 3 DTs playing next year at over 320 lbs (augusta, osborne and logan). There will likely be a couple more near that weight next year.

Story is that six players are transfering from Florida. I think three are O-lineman, one QB, one RB. Be nice to pick up one of those O-lineman.

Wow. Read this. How can it not be Mizzou?

Dominique Booth of Pike high school (Indianapolis, Ind.) is one of the top-rated receivers in the country. The 6-1, 200-pound four-star holds offers from the who's who of college football including Alabama, Florida State, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Missouri and Virginia Tech, to name a few. In fact, he had originally committed to the Tennessee Volunteers, but rescinded his pledge when made aware it was a possibility he wouldn't be able to enroll early. Hence, Rutgers entered the equation.

"Coach Prince reached out to me last Thursday," said Booth. "He was like, 'Just know we are still really interested in you.' And he knew my situation. And he said, 'Just so you know, we have a spot for you to come early.' And he said, 'Let us know if you are interested so we can get everything going.' And I said I was interested. So he came up here today. And he told my coach he's gonna get my financial aid papers to me to sign if that's what I decide to do.

"In the Big Ten, you can only sign financial aid papers for one school. And if that's the school I decide to go with out of the Big Ten schools, I'm gonna sign it next Monday after my visit. And the only Big Ten teams I'm looking at are IU (Indiana) and Rutgers."

Booth says Prince stopped by for an hour, inquiring about the talented receiver. He was originally supposed to engage in an in-house visit with Booth, but had a flight mix up causing him to have to leave earlier than planned. However, before Prince returned to the Garden State, he established with Booth plans for this upcoming weekend's official visit.

"He wants me to come down this weekend for an official," said Booth. "And it's looking really likely that I will do that."

Booth explained that his interest in the Scarlet Knights is genuine, and says he is seriously considering taking his talents to the banks.

"I like Rutgers," he said. "If I didn't, I wouldn't spend my last weekend to go on an official there. They have a good program, and coach Prince let me know about a lot of the positive things they have going on there. And I'm definitely interested."

Apparently, The Scarlet Knights are in competition with three schools for Booth's services.

"Missouri, Indiana, Rutgers... and Tennessee is still in it somewhat. And I talk to some other schools, but I'm not trying to open it up to the point where I have 20 different schools to make a decision on. So those are the schools I'm looking at the deepest, right now."

If Booth decides to follow-through with his Rutgers trek, the Scarlet Knights will receive Booth's first and likely last visit before enrolling at a four-year university in January.

"IU, Tennessee and Missouri, I've been to those places lots of times," he said. "And I'm not interested in taking officials there."

Booth plans to make his decision "a little bit after New Year's."

I would imagine it's between MU and IU. IU with the hometown advantage and MU with the competitive advantage to go along with the family's long time friendship with Ford.

I hope Brandon Lee is working on him. Both are from Indianapolis, both want to enroll early.

Looks like Mizzou is going to pull in Booth and Wingo. I'd like to add Sawyer and Wallace to that list.

Booth is the least of my worries honestly. He would be a nice grab and give us great depth and help class rating. But I still feel Brown is the better receiver. Booth would be a luxury grab. Sawyer and Wallace would be my top priorities
