Pretty amazing all of the talent we had that year

QB- Franklin UDFA

RB- Murphy 6th TD
Josey UDFA
Hansbrough likely UDFA

WR- DGB 2nd Rd
Sasser 6th Rd
Washington UDFA
Lucas UDFA
Hunt UDFA

OL - Britt 2nd Rd
Morse 2nd Rd
Boehm- Likely draft pick
McGovern- Likely draft pick

DL - Ray 1st Rd
Golden 2nd Rd
Early 2nd Rd
Sam 7th Rd
Vincent UDFA
Brantley likely draft pick

LB - Wilson UDFA
Brothers likely draft pick
Scherer possible draft pick/UDFA

DB - Gaines 6th Rd
Penton likely draft pick
Simon possible UDFA
Gibson possible UDFA

Just used the guys off our two deep. That's 17 either drafted or signed as a free agent already. Another 5 who are almost locks to be drafted, and another 3 or 4 who could either get drafted or sign a FA deal.

Particularly impressive would be 4 out of 5 OL being drafted and our entire two deep at DE being drafted with 3 of the 4 in the first two rounds.

Probably the most talented team we've ever had. We could have won the Natty that year. I'm still salty about the coaches decision to completely change the defensive scheme in one week and subsequently give our players on defense no chance in that Auburn game.

I try not to think about it too much, but essentially we were out coached that game as I feel we were the more talented team. Steck was good don't get me wrong. But he was not up with the times and coached too simple. I never felt like there was a game we won because Steck out coached the OC/HC of the the other team. Hopefully Odom will be better about that.

We were definitely out coached. Still stings.

Great team, but I'd take the 2007 team over it, offense was deadly

Both great teams, but I think '13 would beat '07. More balanced, complete team.

I read somewhere that the 2013 Auburn team ranks as one of the best offenses in SEC history. Do I feel better, nope. We couldn't stop 'em when we had to. I want "somebody in-the-know" to write a book about that game someday. Stec will never say a word about it.

I left AtL at 3am the next morning because I couldn't sleep. That drive home just sucked, but so did the drive down there (ice/snow). Coming home from the Cotton Bowl, I had to endure hoards of Aubies going to the Natty at the KC airport. Being a Mizzou fan is not for sissies.

Stec has been one of the best DC in college the last 5 years But he does have a weakness. Any time that runs lots of option or misdirection. His defenses have really struggled against those types of offenses. So getting Auburn was to worst matchup Mizzou could of had for the championship game.

The Auburn (Delaware) Offense is extremely tough to prepare for in 1 week unless another team has cracked the code. In 2014 K-State cracked the code and everyone copied them. The kick in the nuts was that K-State brought up 2 linebackers and a safety with the 3rd linebacker protecting the backside. If you watch our game against Auburn, our LB's were deep, so they could "read and react." The traditional way to defense the option offense. However there were a handful of times when Stec brought them closer to the line with Safety support, and we stopped them. We had cracked the code, and didn't know it.

2007 was a deadly offense until it got to the goal line. You can't go qsr and goal 5 times in the big 12 chapionship Game against OU and get 1 field goal. 2013 much more balanced on both sides of the bal. 2007 was weak up front and would be blown off the line with the 2013 DLine
