the light came on for Preston when he had his kid. that was right before the liberty bowl and from that game forward he was a different player.

Im aware of this fact, but what does this have to do with the experience vs athleticism argument? Does this guy not count because he ran track before? Some would argue him being a track guy would hurt because he isn't used to carrying the extra weight of pads etc..so it goes both ways.
And by the way...we have a track guy too in Holloway who I haven't seen outrun anyone.

Market has intangibles and is a fine tackler. He also saved our arse from losing a game couple years ago. Oh, he was also the best player recruited out of South Panola that year.

No matter what you guys say about market, he isn't as talented than the guys behind him. He just isn't. He plays hard and I am glad to have him, but Ibon is right. If people like bryant and peters get the mental part down, they should play ahead of him if it helps the team. And chances are that muffin won't have the sack to do it.
