I think we should. Extra set of arms at a school that seems to have have great arms but always that arm or two away, might be the ticket.

I neither buy it nor dismiss it. It's going to be hard to see what the impact of essentially not having a 2020 baseball season does for everyone. We've already seen the traditional powers in Basketball suffer while it seemed like the major players in College Football had little issues.

I think there's a great possibility we see teams that don't tend to succeed have unprecedented success. But either way it's certainly great to have this sport back. Who knows how 2020 would've gone but it's a shame we had to wait another year to see how we followed up our 2019 CWS trip with such a talented team

This is the best pitching staff we have ever had. Let’s see how the young bats step up but I’m excited.

First reliever comes in and fans 3 in a row to leave bases loaded. Landon Sims. Remember the name.

Disappointing to be 2 games in and have our first L. Should have won today. Not to be reactionary, but based on the quality of the sec this year, we will be chasing a half game for a while and need to keep a tight ship. Don’t crucify me...just my opinion.

Well we didn’t exactly start with a cupcake. We play 3 top 15 teams this week. If we go 2-1 I’ll be good with it considering our Ace didn’t even travel

And our guy today got scratched. No reason to be disappointed in anything other than the top of our lineup hitting

Gutsy win despite lackluster pitching. Took 2 wins against top 10 teams without our top 2 guys. This team is very good.

Considering that 5 of our top 12 pitchers were not available and two of those out were weekend starters, winning 2 out of 3 in a tournament with only top ten teams in it is HUUUGE.

There aren't many teams that can win one in that scenario much less win two.

Sure Ole Miss and Arky went 3-0 but State was an error away from winning 3 themselves in a one run game. Neither Ark or Ole Miss faced that pitcher either. He may have beaten them as well.

Count me as optimistic but realizing there are lots of loaded teams this year. Vandy is still over there.

I think we are a weak super elimination team. Not very impressive in the middle of the lineup and I’m having issues with the Greek’s bullpen decisions. I think we will all be disappointed this year. Don’t crucify me, that’s just my opinion. I’m not a Lemonis fan. We should have done much better with the hire. Some of y’all will hate that, but anyone in the sec could pick off a big 10 coach. I support him while he is here, but Cohen should have delivered an elite recruiter and an elite coach. We have a meh hire. Should have gone after Butch.

On top of that, we should have been able to stack pitching due to COVID, which would normally give us that extra arm we need for Omaha. We are overrated. Hitting: B- pitching B. Not top 10 material unfortunately. I blame Cohen. All of his successors have been better than he was. Weird huh?

Lmfao 5 games into the season and our fanbase is in full meltdown mode. They forget getting swept by USM to start a season just to finish in Omaha. This isn’t fricking football

We are ahead of schedule slightly, probably slightly overrated, as is, but our staring pitching is going to be patchwork. Not much dominance, but not chopped liver either.

Then we throw a no hitter. I’ve got a special talent.
