We are as battle tested as any team there. Plus with our solid pitching staff playing in such a big park it play towards our strengths.
OSU is also a team that relies on pitching. It should make for an exciting game.

OSU is a much more complete team than UVA, a young group with average pitching for a top 20 team. It was an excellent matchup for State, and y'all took advantage like you should have.
The bracket MSU is in will be tough. Indiana likely have one win in them at best. The other two teams can flat-out pitch. I think both are better than the Dogs, so winning game one is even more crucial. If Indiana pulls the game one shocker and MSU meets them in the winners' bracket, the title series will happen.

They probably weren't recruited by Cohen. When he was first hired the talent on our team was at an all time low so he had to cut the fat and get rid of those who couldn't play.
I'm willing to bet your friends (one who I'm guessing is the ultimate pussy Forrest Moore) are the ones who didn't want to buy into the change in culture Cohen had.
As for current players, you could see their love and appreciation for him after we beat Virginia the other day.
