I'm feeling really good about the slot position. Myles and Graham both show a lot of promise, and Gray looks to be the real deal coming in next year.

Yeah Myles has been really impressive. Every time he touches the ball he gains 2 or 3 yards more than he should gain.

Gabe Myles is blowing everyone away. I never would have thought he would come along so fast.

With a looming bye week, holding Jameon out was probably an awesome decision to guarantee a deep run into the end of the season and his possible draft status. It's too early to be playing every game with a nagging injury. Especially if you're aiming for the playoffs.

At the beginning of the year Graham looked more comfortable fielding punts than anyone we have had back there in a while and thats why he got the job. He is a true freshman and he tried to make some things happen instead of playing it safe. I still think he is our best returner. I hope that he has learned and i hope he stays.

I agree. Graham has looked smoother back there than anyone we've had in awhile. If you've never returned a punt, then you don't know how physically difficult it is. Not anyone can do it. He is a natural back there. The miscues have come with his decision making not natural ability. I hope we keep him back there. He will learn from these mistakes.

You know Bama will come full steam and try to decleat anyone fielding punts or kick-offs for us as evidenced by last year, with no fear of it getting called. I would be happy to fair catch everything till Tubby gets back on the field.

I'm not sure why everyone acts like tubby hasn't muffed/bobbled several in his career.
And we are just gonna throw him out there halfway through the year?
Keep graham out there imo

Tubby bobbled alot with kickoffs and punts early on but he has had his shite tight end of last year / this year..

I agree. I think leaving Graham back there will pay off real soon.

He has some time to work it out but y'all know how Mullen is with seniority.

Graham fumbled another one against UK. He recovered it but damn, that's three games in a row.
We need Jameon back there returning punts.

I've been saying this.

Graham is solid on "normal" punts. He had a nice return before he decided to give it up trying to turn it into something bigger.
He struggles on other items. Indecision against A&M. A truly bad decision against Auburn. A hard running grab against UK.
FWIW, Arkansas made 2 of Graham's mistakes against UAB. They were lucky on both. One muff went into the endzone. A UAB guy whiffed on the recovery, and the guy that muffed the tough catch was able to get the ball back. Because the ball went into the endzone with the kick momentum, it was only a touchback. The guy also tried to pick up a bounce in traffic like Graham did against Auburn. UAB got the ball, but failed on a 4th down play on the 3 yard line.

And now it's four straight games with fumbled punts.
He has no fricking business being back there.

Graham needs to stay off the field during punts. frick him.

Maybe next year but if he sees the field again on a punt I will lose my shite

Yeah, I blame the coaches not Graham. I realize he is just a Freshman, but he's not ready yet.
I think he has a lot of potential, but turnovers on punt returns can be game-changing killers.
