2600 tickets sold. Several of those are simply donations to help the school meet its ticket allotment. One booster is covering all tickets wanted by students, and the 2,600 number includes those takers. I think it is about an 8 to 8.5 hour drive.

Anyone complaining about end zone seats from MSU might want to give them a call.

Rice has like, less than 4K undergrads a year. This isn't shocking.

They sold 8K tickets for the Texas Bowl. They thought they would sell their whole 10K allotment for the Liberty Bowl.

I think the ones who are shocked are Rice fans.

The game was in Dallas. I probably have the name wrong then.

They did play in the Texas Bowl in Houston in 2008. They played in The Armed Services Bowl last year. That is where they sold 8,000 tickets. That game is played on TCU's campus.
