Don't you dare question the great Les Koenning. He helped beat the Longhorns in 2007!

Milton and Robinson are both far and away better than Perkins. I like Perkins but he's average with no real home run threat, Robinson is like a pin ball. Kind of reminds me of Maurice Jones-Drew.

Perkins is not that big, but at least he's not that fast.

Him bulking up as he has is a mistake, IMO. He was better in his first couple of years when he was quick.

It's almost like we kept taking Robinson out so he wouldnt show everyone he was better than Perkins. Every time he would have a big run- he would hardly carry the ball again the rest of the game

Same way with Griffin towards the end of the year before the injury.

I always thought Ballard was a good but not great back. His career trajectory kinda reminds me of Stevan Ridley. Solid in college and surpisingly good in the pros.

At the beginning of the season that wasn't the case. Josh did a lot of dancing behind the LOS. I actually thought Milton looked better early on. One thing I think we probably can all agree on now is that Perkins should go back to being the 3rd down back and maybe share the carries.

Did we have any screens to Perkins last year? I think I missed those if we did.

That's what i was sayin. Some guys just work hard and have the right mentality and get put in the right situations.

Not sure what all it takes to be considered great but 2 very good things you could say about Ballard while at MSU:

1. He had a nose for the end zone.
2. He didn't get run down from behind.

They were way too productive in 2011 to work again. Les did a counter-read on the defense and fourtunately never had to whip it out.

Doesn't get a lot of media time, but in the top half of the SEC by the end of the season...whether it's next season or the one after that. I think he can make a splash at the next level like Vic has.

Does anyone know when Nick Griffin might be ready to play?

Who knows, but I'll be shocked if he plays in the regular season. He could maybe be healthy, but no need to risk reinjury.
