Apparently, "it transmits, but it doesn't receive"; read where I said I won't ring when the center is over the ball; for the Auburn game, anyway.

What I received is your statement above.

No offense, but anyone who limits to a single game their willingness to comply with repetitive requests from the athletic department isn't much of a state supporter.

It's people like you that Scott Stricklin was addressing. It's sad that he even has to post such a request, and sadder still that people such as you post your willingness to limit or ignore his request.

Some really neat stuff is planned for for the CowBellYell tonight. If you can ... Be there!! The Stark-Vegas tee shirts are sweet. Gates are going to open a little before 9.

We did a good job ringing responsibly.

Thought so, too.

Anyone see any Auburn cowbells?

Not the one stuck up their arse.

I was shocked. You couldn't hear any cowbells on TV as soon a the center was over the ball.

Did they threat to kick people out of the stadium? Because the a&m game wasn't even close to right.

I worked this weekend so had to watch it on TV. Some AU fan obviously got one in because on the first couple of State drives to start 2nd half one or two lone bells could be heard ringing when we were on offense. As predicted I am sure the crowd felt with them becUse you didn't hear them any more after that.

We did really well with the rule this weekend. I think adding the graphic to "Respect the bell just yell" is probably the biggest change to make an improvement, that and Scott chastising the fanbase.

I didn't make it to the game, but all reports were that it was done responsibly -- seemed that way on the TV broadcast, too. (But sometimes I found it hard to tell with the play-by-play calls masking the on-field noise.)
