Is anyone else as excited as I am about what that team can do offensively when Newman gets healthy? Haven't watched that kind of performance since Stans.

It was a great opening game.

I don't see any reason why this team shouldn't make the big dance in Howland's inaugural season.

I was unable to watch the game, but 106 points with Newman and Holman out is very impressive.

That was fun to watch. Apparently we can shoot the ball and avoid 8-10 minute stretches when we can't score or even throw the ball inbounds. I'm pretty pumped.

I can't recall a game where we had that many blocks and steals in a like a 5 minute stretch.

Great win, and great to see excitement back in the hump.

I was pleased that throughout the first 3/4 of the game, even though we were down, we never panicked.

I'm a bit concerned with the defense but it was great to see us scoring so well. And that's without Newman.

Ditto, but Eastern Washington is a good team. Wouldn't be surprised if they're a tourney team again this year.

Damn right!! That was a great game Friday. First game I have enjoyed watching in several years and I am not really a Bball fan. EWash was playing us tight and we got them on the transitions in the second half. Very nice win.

Eastern Washington is a fairly solid opponent + the new rules in basketball are going to lead to high scoring games.

EWU put up 126 pts in a game yesterday against a team I have never heard of before.

Definitely a game where anything that could go wrong went wrong.

Watching a game without a score tracker was really really annoying.

No commercials was nice, though.
