Overall, I thought the LB play was pretty solid. I think we should only recruit LB's whose names are a color. Brown, Brown, and Green is a good start.
Did not know Gerri is more like Gary and not Jerry. That was one thing I learned this weekend.

Allyn, are you mixing up Bell with Cook? Cook is the Punter/PK this year I believe. He has an absolute cannon of a leg, wouldn't expect many to not make the endzone this year. Didn't realize he is like 6'5", crazy leverage.
I think my favorite thing about the Freds is that they just flat out catch the football. There is a lot to be said for speed, running routes, and size, but damn it's nice to have two guys who just haul it in every time.

Yes, my goof. I sat up in the shade last Saturday. Bell and Cooke both kicked in that scrimmage. I just made the assumption that Bell was kicking both ways. Bell's first kick was 50 yards and towering with a fair catch. Cooke had dropped one down to the 3 before that. His next punt went 70+ yards into the end zone. I think he ended up with 5 punts over 60 yards that day.

Punting looks good...we may have to go without a FG kicker this year though. Stupid Sobiesk and his dental school.
