I could see Woody going. Holder is pretty much guaranteed to go higher next year though given the circumstances of this season. Whereas Woody seems like a ball of potential, another year without anything to show would only hurt his stock.

None of that matters, because their junior year is the year they make the money.

Improving your draft stock from your junior to senior year doesn't do anything. You will lose a lot of money.

Congratulations to Lindgren... He may get the chance to get some LH hitters out in the postseason this fall.

Guessing we'll actually find this out when the dust settles from the draft...

I've been too pissed off to really keep up this year to be honest with you...

So when are we gonna hire ULL's hitting coach

quote:

After hitting just .263 with 18 home runs in 2012, the Cajuns exploded under Deggs’ direction in 2013. At the conclusion of the regular season, the Cajuns were ranked inside the Top 5 in the NCAA in eight offensive categories: home runs (72), home runs/per game (1.22), slugging percentage (.513), batting average (.323), total bases (1,066), hits (666), doubles (137) and runs (453). In addition the Cajuns dominated the offensive charts in Sun Belt Conference play. In the 10 major offensive categories the Cajuns ranked first in 8-of-10 including: batting average (.336), slugging percentage (.538), on-base percentage (.407), runs (234), hits (357), RBI (211), home runs (41) and total bases (572).

When something seems too good to be true with baseball, the past 15 years or so have proven that it probably is...

There's more than meets the eye going on with that guy...

I wouldn't complain about Mingione moving on though...

Rumors of rolled bats too... Be interesting to see if they hit with the same amount of pop in Omaha(obviously making assumptions) after each bat goes through individual certification and tagging.

I'm not saying there is truth in that -- but the ball does sound quite different coming off their bats...

It's more than just dropping bombs. Those guys are so solid offensively. Anyone of them can drop a push our drag on you anytime they want to.
