Yeah that was odd to me. It definitely seemed like he thought Tiano may blow up his senior year and he would lose him. That's the only reason letting the Texas kid hang around makes any sense to me.

that and the fact that Virgil didn't develop like they thought he would. really hard to see a sub 200lb QB run Dan's offense.

It would be worse if it didn't eventually move through the correct positions. It's like shortening your golf swing, a lot easier than changing the swing plane.

I remember Trey in HS. Solid prospect but didn't have the grades.

Jones is a big and athletic kid.
I was told y'all lead for Simmons. Our staff really wants him though. He and Nigel Knott are gonna be ugly all the way down the stretch. MSU should have no problem locking Noxubee County down since it is so close to Starkville but historically that hasn't been the case.

Kobe Jones and Simmons seem to be pretty tight, but yeah, Noxubee has been anything but a lock for either school.
