Dak Prescott, 2014 Heisman candidate. Dumbest thing I have read in a long time.

Obviously, he gets credit for Dak. There are many more failures and question marks out there though. Most years Dan is relegated to taking his 5 or 6th choice at QB. With Damian Williams case about his 10th choice. He gets credit for Dak but he is definitely an outlier.

2010 and even 2012 was a long time ago.

We've gotten our #1 qb target in 3 straight classes now.

What else is there to give or not give him credit for?

The only other things to really grade as far as Mullens QBs are how you think DW handled the Arkansas game and the Egg Bowl.

Can we just talk about the above picture and leave the QB stuff alone?

ETA: Req and Realist, what is this down year for Leo yall are talking about?

We are back in it with Jason Carr.

If you remember, we recruited him out of high school with his cousin(?) Donald Gray. He went to Tennessee but transferred to Northeast Miss CC.

We're most likely only going to take one more DL in this class, and it's down to him or Swain from MGCCC.

LINK

He doesn't have a ranking right now in JC but was a 94 4* out of High School.

Really wish Cord would have decided to play football. I am 100% positive that kid would have been another Heisman caliber QB under Mullen.

He's the next Weeden. That kid is coming to Starkville eventually.

I tend to agree. Wish he would have pulled the cord already, pun intended. Having him redshirt and ready to compete with Tiano would be great timing.

Think I just developed a new conspiracy. Cord is all dawg in the spring. What more dignified way to offer a grey shirt than to honor a standing scholarship offer?

Statistically speaking he's really underperformed this year in comparison to his Jr. year. Idk what the reason behind it is or if it's good or bad. Also, as req mentioned, he has been personal foul prone from what I hear.

Idk of it's anything to worry about but it's been weird.

It would be fun to flip him regardless.

You know we just see stars over here.

Chris Stamps just tweeted that Leo is going to flip after the egg bowl.

Leo retweeted and favorited.

Not that any of that means anything, but it can't be a bad thing either.

Wouldn't mind if an extra spot opened up.

I don't necessarily want him to flip but wouldn't be mad if he did.

WE don't need to be losing Jarvis Wilson, he could be our most talented db in the class. His senior stats speak for themselves.

Jarvis Wilson is not more talented than Peters. Period.

McLaurin is probably just as good or better as well.
