I was traveling last night and didn't get to watch but the last few innings once I got home but after finding out Mitchell got blasted this is what I thought:
Mitchell's fastball is what? 80-84 mph? I think the reason he has had such success in the SEC is because he has such a change of pace from the regualar pitchers that it throws most teams timing off. For ULL, that's what they see from their conference regularly. Maybe when we get someone up there that throws harder, with better stuff it will slow their offense down a little.
I'm not saying this is 100% what happened, just my hypothesis.

idk, Laster has went beastmode in like his last 3 starts?
We need Lingren in the critical innings, so if Laster can give us 4+ solid innings it will be much better than having Lingren for the first 6.

I like the idea of startin Lindgren, but I think he's not to high on the idea. I say start Laster and at the first of trouble bring in Lindgren. If he has trouble....tell Holder to man up and make him go 3.

Yeah. If you are facing one of the best offenses in the country and have one of the best pitchers, let him start off with nobody on base and see how many innings he can go.

I can't really say I am that pissed off. We should have won more games and been hosting. But ULL. Was clearly the better team. I can't get upset over losing to them.
