You probably missed it from the Megathread Bundy, but I met a mutual friend of Woods' mom last week and we hooked up on Sun and threw around the pigskin, he's a lot better than most people think, maybe he gets around State's program and gets to participate in more camps. His coaches have a stupid grudge against him and so his stats and what he can do seriously suffers. Coaches wouldn't send him on any individual camps the last 2 yrs only one he participated in was Hoover mini prospect camp with mostly underclassmen and he measured 6'4 210 and ran a 4.49 40 no shite and I saw great speed on Sun, has great hands, gonna be a huge sleeper

I'm guessing Cox and Jackson from EMCC
1 or 2 LBs
1 safety
1 corner
that looks about right

Lame as hell if he goes anywhere but State. We were the only school that offered him out of West Point. Now he goes to EMCC , blows up and gets offers from errywhere. Just our luck.

Appreciate the info.
I've heard nothing but good things about Woods. Also hearing he may be a Dec. graduate early enrollee.

We have 4 SR WRs graduating after this season, so if Deandre gets on campus in Starkville in Jan and goes through spring drills there Is a good chance he can get a lot of PT as a Freshman, and possibly even earn a starting spot.

Deandre Woods commit story
Mississippi State head football coach Dan Mullen and his staff show their good fortune on the recruiting trail continue this afternoon when Clay-Chalkville wide receiver DeAndre Woods verbally committed to the Bulldogs. After a strong camp showing over the weekend, Woods and his mother returned to Starkville today to make his verbal pledge to Mississippi State official.
"I committed to Mississippi State," messaged Woods.
Woods chose the Bulldogs over offers from Arkansas, Auburn, NC State, Ole Miss, Purdue, UAB, Southern Cal, Southern Miss and UAB among others.
The Pinson, Alabama native is the ninth commitment towards the Mississippi State 2013 signing class.
Woods is the seventh player to verbal commit to Coach Dan Mullen and his staff since Friday.

Did Kalio just commit?

Just when state fans are freaking out because we don't have many commits, he lands 4/5 in two days and 3 of those are 4*'s!
