I want the Bowling Green DC! Look at what he has done with that defense using 2 star recruits.

I want him any where on the Defense coaching!

Also... it's already been stated over and over. Les is not.. repeat not been fired and is recruiting. He is not going anywhere right now!

I would love to see HUD come back to State as the OC, so that when Mullen does(not if but when)jump ship, we will already have hired our new HC.

Nothing personal against Koenning, but he is as predictable as a wasp on speed!

Comments Welcome!

He isn't going to leave a head coaching job at ULL to come be an OC under a head coach he doesn't like for less pay.

I am sure MSU would match/top the pay ULL is paying HUD to come to Starkville. If that doesn't happen then I'm optimistic, when Mullen leaves, HUD comes home!

I like your optimism...but that would be a horrible career move for Hud. He is fine at ULL.

Our current highest paid coach is Geoff Collins at 280k. Hud is making 750k at ULL I believe. Rumor is he is about to get another raise as well. No way we can pay 1 million plus for an assistant, and I don't think he would come even if we could.

Eta: I want Hud as our next head coach just as much as anyone.

I think he stays @ ULL until MSU comes calling. I don't believe that ULL has the funds to keep him there. He's a Bulldog at heart..

I think we are going in the wrong direction on Offense, there is no thump in our offense like it was back in 09-10. As I watched this year, I had relapses of the Croom era.No mojo to make things happen. Not sure who shoulders that falls on, but if they want to continue to receive my monthly donation, something must change and change quickly!

Keonning makes about 300K

Hud makes 900K

Hud will never work for Mullen again

Paul Jones says that David Turner is the new DL Coach.

Bo Davis would have been a homerun hire, but Ill take Turner as a ground rule double. He has coached at 4 different SEC Schools and has recruited good players for us in the past.

Task #1 LOCK UP CHRIS JONES!

I think it's a good hire. We need him to hit the ground running.

A new name mentioned on 247 for the DB position is Terry Joseph.

Joseph is currently on staff at Nebraska. He previously coached at Tennessee as recruiting coordinator and DB coach and also at LSU and La. Tech.

I just saw a tweet on that. Why would he want to leave Nebraska?

He's originally from LSU, so he may want to get closer to home.

Pretty much all of the yardage they gave up was rushing...539 rushing yards to 101 passing. They had one of the best pass defenses in the nation.
