Not sure of the protocol here but thought I'd do a little intro, hate to be rude.
The rare Cat who prefers football over basketball.
Have been told those who get addicted to crack/meth get their best buzz the first time they use and ruin their lives trying to recapture that first high (feel free to chime in here Mizzou fans) (I keed, I keed). My freshman year at UK we went 10-1 and I've been chasing that buzz ever since.
Have visited all the SEC stadiums except the two newbies and have met a lot of great fans along the way. Some remain life long friends.
Like pretty much anything outdoors, especially golf, and true to my KY roots I was drinking bourbon before beer.

Actually this describes me as well, and I sort of believe CatFan81 fits this as well, but I will let her chime in for sure.
I love BBall, but football is my first love, and I had season tickets for years, but gave them up when my son (adopted) graduated.

The way it should be. College Station is worth the trip and their fans have been totally cool so far except when 1 compared Vandy to Baylor. Was supposed to the Georgia game in Columbia last year so that is still on the list.

The first year I started attending all the home Alabama games (I was a sophomore in high school) was 2007. To this day, despite the success we've had since, I have not had a better time during a football season than that year. We went 7-6, but every second of it was real

Sonny was a few years before my time. However you made me realize it's been almost exactly 40 years since my first UK game in person when we played at Vandy and Sonny had a pretty good game.
My freshman year was Art Still, Derrick Ramsey, Felilx Wilson, Kelly Kirchbaum and that crew. Seemed like every home game was at night and CWS was a bourbon fueled rock concert. That was a heck of a team.
Definitely set the hook with this fan.
