I still don't know if we win the east. Will be tough to win out having to go to OM and at home against A&M. So if we lose 1, we have to hope UGA wins out to force a 3 way tie which we own that tie breaker. If UGA doesn't win out, SC owns the head to head tie breaker over us.

Maybe so, but I think overall you guys are the better team, and aside from some Connor Shaw magic, it wouldn't even be close.

I love what Stoops has done with Ohio. There is a ton of talent in that state. I see you guys showing improvement next year but the biggest differences starting to show through in the year after. Should be a fun time to be a UK football fan.

I agree. He's the first UK coach to even attempt to recruit Ohio and he's finding talent wanting to play in the SEC.
I would imagine we start a true freshmen QB next year so I think another learning year is to be expected. With that said, there will be more talent/depth and instead of 2-10 like this season is shaping up to be, maybe 5-7. Then two years from now, I think UK is competitive in all conference games.

The East is pretty well a clusterfrick. No disrespect to Mizzou, but USCe may have the most likely nod just because I don't see UGA beating Auburn and as you said it'll be tough to beat Ole Miss and A&M.

End of the season schedules is what makes me think Mizzou still has the uphill battle.

Mizzou @ Ole Miss and vs TAMU is tougher than South Carolina vs Florida. My observation that the Cocks playing tough games early would pay benefits still seems to hold. Finishing with Clemson may give national exposure but a loss will not count against SEC standings.

You can look at it a million different ways Cheese. Without having the schedule set up the way they did, Mizzou likely would not be in the position they currently are in. They needed the 4 OOC games early to build confidence and buzz about the program. Had we played UGA in week 2 like last year, this season probably would have turned out a lot different for Mizzou and we probably wouldn't even be comparing their remaining schedules at this point. From that point of view, setting up the schedule the way they did paid benefits for Mizzou as well.

Anyways, enough about Mizzou's schedule. I'll pull for the day that Mizzou, UK and Vandy put the rant on tilt by finishing 1, 2 and 3 in the east (in no particular order).

Maybe, and maybe not but I certainly would have liked to see a healthy Mizzou and a healthy Georgia going at it. ESPN was already knocking Mizzou because of the injuries and now they are creeping Baylor and Ohio State into the discussion which really pisses me off more than anything.
