As a Bulls fan, I think this was the best move. He has a NEGATIVE PER and has flat out regressed from his performance in the Summer League.

The Bulls never assign guys to the D-League, so this is pretty telling especially with Derrick Rose out for another season.

I think he should've stayed in school at least another year. He could've been a top 10 pick in this past year's NBA draft.

I also think last year's UK team with Teague, even with the Noel injury, could've at least made the Sweet 16.

Thoughts?

Not sure with Noel out, but certainly that team needed a leader at PG and didn't have it. Teague would have made them better for sure.

From the Grizzlies side of things we went into the summer hoping to see good things out of Tony Wroten. The first game was against the Bulls and Teague just absolutely destroyed Wroten and the Grizz.

I was hoping to see that he had turned the corner.

I still think they lacked the depth to do so. PG was definitely the team's weak spot, but the team itself was just a mess. If Wiltjer had sustained how he played for a stretch of the season against Ole Miss and Tennessee, maybe.
