2022 shaping up to be a good one.

Levis, Rodriguez, Jones, Square, and Wright all coming back. Throw in the guys that’ll be back from injuries- Oxendine, Cox, Crowdus and Upshaw. As well as a strong past few recruiting classes and transfer hauls and I’m beyond excited. Could use 1-2 more pieces in the secondary which it sounds like they will come shortly in the portal

IMO our toughest games before Georgia will be Miss St and at Tennessee.

What do you all think about next year?

Offense should be phenomenal next season.
Defense may be a concern, especially with a new LB coach but we shall see. I suspect it'll still be decent.

Stoops will top Bryant in overall # of wins (unless something horrendous happens).
8-4 should be achievable (though not gauranteed by any means) and if the stars align we could have a season better than the '77 benchmark that Stoops has been hitting.

I'm looking forward to next season and I'd happily skip basketball season to get there sooner (sacrilege I know)

The linebacker group should be the best part of our defense. A lot of experience there. Just need all our front seven to be healthy and have a good offseason. Hoping Weaver can follow in Josh Allen’s footsteps. Injuries have held him back a little, get him 100%, and he could be special

Starting to get concerned with the oline now that Wolford is gone. Gonna be very inexperienced with a new coach. Not a great recipe.

Well we are losing someone else
quote:

According to On3 Sports’ Matt Zenitz, Kentucky is set to lose quality control staffer Jovon Bouknight to Marshall. Upon joining the Thundering Herd, Bouknight will coach the wide receivers. Bouknight was demoted to quality control following his DUI arrest.

quote:

Bouknight has been at Kentucky for 2 seasons after coming over from Oregon, where he coached the wide receivers. Bouknight is a former All-American wide receiver at Wyoming.

quote:

Bouknight ranks 20th all time in NCAA history in receiving yards (3,626) and career receptions (250). He is still the school’s all-time leader in both all-purpose yards (5,921) and kickoff return yards (2,016).

Don't know that is a big loss. A coach has to be an example to the team, not a distraction. If he's going to Marshall then it isn't like we are losing a hot commodity. Liam should know some guys.

I worry about our tackles on the o-line. Hopefully Young or Jaeger can pitch in with Goodwin and Flax.

Corners are an area of concern as well.

Solid everywhere else.
