I don't think he will, and I really can't imagine UK scheduling Texas, at least not as long as they play Louisville too in the same season.

With Bridgewater leaving, Charlie would be stupid to not take this job. He finally will have to play a decent conference schedule and without Teddy. This is a no brainer decision for him.

I don't want to play Texas. It's hard enough to make it to a bowl game as it is if you're Kentucky.

Nope. Still the same old boy network running UT and they want no part of the SEC in OOC. And honestly the way they dicked around A&M (very Indiana-esque), I'd hope Slive would go tell them to frick off anyway.

Strong dosen't make the schedule and the powers that be at UTex may try to schedule SEC teams just to piss A&M off. It is amazing how much hate there really is between the schools. It extends to all facets of each schools existence and into state politics as well.

Mack Brown seemed to have that power as the schedule got softer after he became coach. When Texas scheduled Old Miss they were at the bottom of the SEC but were middle of the pack by the time the games actually got played. Right now Arkansas and Kentucky are at the bottom and based on past history UK is more likely to be at the bottom than Arkansas.

The shite that Strong is getting right now from some UT boosters tends to make me think they're going to make it hard for him to succeed and definitely won't give him scheduling leeway.

I honestly just don't see them doing it. And until we gain some traction in conference I really would rather we didn't.

UK is an IMG school as is Texas. When that Kansas game got sold out from under the B12 deal with FOX so they could broadcast it on the LHN nothing would surprise me at this point. The LHN is ESPN and they are looking for any way to boost the LHN at this point. Piggybacking a SEC game on the year Texas came to Commonwealth and then putting the game in TX on the LHN seems just about ESPN's speed.

I agree with this but with the last round of realignment it has become obvious that networks are running schedules and not the conferences or schools anymore. ESPN could care less about what is good for UK if it makes them money on the LHN.
