They probably tried to get Indiana and Tom Crean bitched about why they didn't want to play it in Assembly Hall

this is awesome that we set this up. unfortunately next year isn't looking too good for us right now

And we have no idea what Kentucky's roster is going to look like yet
It really sucked that Kentucky's one matchup with Duke in recent years was with Cal's worst Kentucky team.

All that is moot unless the big donors are the motivation. Cal would not be at UK were it not for 2 very big UK donors.
