I have an amicable compromise use the black G with the crossed golf clubs behind it as illustrated....

This would do nicely and even bugger9^ wouldn't bitch too much.

Well, youve been recently accepted and havent stepped foot on campus yet, and already wanting to call things outdated and suggest change. Its yankee like is all.

Cobb County is yankee, by the way. I grew up there too, i know what im talking about.

That's the only thing I have a problem with. The red G reminds me too much of a cheesy high school logo. I've been around UGA enough to respect the tradition. My whole family has gone there. The red G is not tradition.

Agreed. It isn't. Dooley brought about the black oval G in the 60's. I don't even know why we had a red G on the field to be honest. It just doesn't look very good.
