Semo does fight for her cubs because she is a woman and her instinct takes over. Sometimes tho the cubs needs to fend for themselves. Spend some time on the Georgia Board and it is like night and day. Look if the cubs want to stretch their legs and talk smack then perhaps Semo would do well to let them get smacked back instead of protecting them.

Instead the Mizzou folks start yelling troll and we have 10 pages of back and forth name calling which totally strangles any real discussion taking root. Nobody wins and the escalation is just tiring to read. I think there are some good Mizzou posters out there but they get drowned in all the noise.

I have no issues with Semo and think she is a good poster. The issue is with the cubs who hide behind her. I think Wild Thing is spot on when calling out that part of the equation. Instead everybody has gotten their panties in a wad over the messengers (Semo and Wild Thang) and gloss over the message which is what to do about the cubs.

Frankly Grits, I'm calling bull shite. Who the frick hides behind semo? You think ST does? Kilo? What the frick does that even mean. It's a fricking message board. No body hides behind someone else. No one lashes out to protect others. There is nothing "to do about the cubs". You like whoever's posts or you don't but there's nothing to be done about them. Actually there was early on. If you have half a brain remember I was an early supporter of Mizzou on here when most were not. I have friends and family in MO and ties to former teachers up in Columbia dating back before most on here were born. I was in your corner. I read the old Mizzou Board and even posted support in the mutual enemy that was kansas even though reading that board is a chore.

I suggested early on the possibility of Mizzou moving to the B1G or SEC when nobody was talking about Mizzou to the SEC (circa spring 2010) but suggested before the move was apparent that some on the boards needed to tone it down because it would rub folks the wrong way. I could see then the minority boastful Mizzou folks were shouting down the majority of more level headed posters.

The problem is some of the worst Mizzou posters on the SEC boards back then seemed to migrate to the Rant. They shouted how good they were to a Rant filled with fans from teams who had really been to the top and had way more history than Mizzou does, The loudest and the worst trolls puffed about how well they would do in football, only to be crushed on the field. In basketball there were threads about how the Tigers would own everything yet a bad Kentucky team still crushed them.

Therein lies the rub. If you win own the win, but if you lose own the loss as well. As the new kid on the block don't let your mouth write checks that your team can not cash. Every other school on the Rant has paid more dues but you disrespect them and call them trolls when they call you out for bad behavior. It gets old and makes folks who originally supported you rethink their initial support. In addition, let that kansas hate go as neither they or their conference matters here. When you talk of old Big 12 or Big 8 wins it sounds like the ex wife after the divorce still talking about the ex husband and what a sh*t they were. Pretty soon you begin to feel the ex husband really was not such a bad guy after all. Sometimes when you are the ex it is just best to STFU about the past and build new memories.

kilo, you and the few have done your fair share of sh*t stirring so don't come back now and act all indignant for your past. There are many really good posters for Mizzou you are just not one of them so you get all bent out of shape when I call you on your crap. Some old Mizzou trolls have appeared to mellow on their original handles but new Mizzou alters appear that post in the same style as the old trolls. What you believe is my dislike of Mizzou is really just a distaste for certain Mizzou posters. Learn the difference and we can get along fine.




My original advice for Mizzou folks still stands

Fly below the radar and win sh*t before you start telling everybody how great you are. Everybody else in this conference has already paid their dues. When State and Ole Miss troll each other they have over a century of history behind them. Mizzou does not have that kind of street cred yet. Trolling UK and VU is not cool and it does not win friends.

I may have joined late but I lurked long ago.

As for real life I have over a half century of SEC memories and have seen every SEC school play every SEC sponsored sport live. Can you say you have attended Ole Miss Rifle or Vanderbilt Bowling live? Have you seen South Carolina or Kentucky live in MAC competition? Hell for all your puffing how many Mizzou sports have you actually attended live and in person. I have already seen the Tigers live on several occasions in their first season in the SEC. This year I will see the Tigers even more times live. If I really hated Mizzou as you imply why would I attend games they may win? Why would I start threads where the Tigers are winning? Are you that slow you can not tell the difference between the school and internet trolls like yourself?

No, I think you are a troll for not paying enough attention to what is actually being said. It was the Mizzou posters who were not even aware it was a women's game and not a men's game in the first place. It was actually a positive Mizzou thread about a hot shooting Mizzou player in a game that derailed when it went off track when I said the SEC had good attendance numbers and the crowd looked sparse on TV and it reflected badly on Mizzou fans. You have since spun it into some master troll to cover your tracks that you were the fook up who did not even know what their own teams were up to.

Calling out the crap Mizzou fans is not the same as calling out the school numbnuts. If you were less narcissistic about your own worth to Mizzou you could tell the difference. Did you even attend Mizzou or are you some kid who thinks they know the world even tho they have never traveled to the places they talk about. I can respect reedus because he has actually seen a live Mizzou volleyball game.
