The end of this game is an absolute cluster.

Box was wondering why a lot of us weren't happy about being up by 7 "on the verge of our third game in a row".
Then people wondered why I was less than enthused about winning the East.
I think a lot of questions have been answered.

Literally the worst 4th quarter ive seen since the choke at doak.
Muschamp is fricking pee wee league garbage to lose a game like that against a 4-5 team at home.

I was yelling run left when they fumbled that pitch into the endzone and Davis recovered. No adjustments same plays over and over again. Where were the short quick routes? Why is Harris carrying the ball 20+ times?

I've always tried to be as optimistic as I can be (even if my posts reflect otherwise), but frick that now. frick Muschamp. That Q4 was absolute bullshite to watch.

Hate to be "that guy" to talk about our QB problem: I'm telling you guys, it's not just Driskel. We have inherent problems at the line and at receiver.
Harris has also missed some really easy throws pretty badly but like I said: I think a lot of it is a coaching problem. Let him throw it, he's gotta make mistakes or we're going to lose.
Edit: Why coaching: Because he hasn't had enough real-time reps in the game to get accustomed to the game speed.
The problem is as soon as we get a turnover, everyone avalanches -- turnovers are a part of the game, and if you take no risks, you risk having teams come back and beat you like today.
Simple answer: Harris ain't ready to toss the ball (or so the coaches think), I say let him hurl it around. Especially now.

Just a pathetic coaching performance.

That was likely the final nail ladies and gentlemen.

Thankfully. Time to hire a real head coach.

Agree here why not let him throw it our Defense was playing well enough to at least give Harris one or two series where we opened up the playbook and ran the "high powered" offense we were promised in the offseason.

Harris' hand was hurt apparently after the first quarter, and he was having issues holding the ball according to the post game presser.

You won't get an argument from me. Run run pass and run run run is not acceptable at UF. You play not to lose, and you lose when your seat is scorching, it will likely burn you.

Like I said, we've mitigated just how bad they were by throwing it quick off the line. Driskel almost never got sacked because the ball was out of his hands fast. But if he even started to check down he'd get blasted.
Same with Harris, he's more of a scatback and so he was able to avoid a lot of trouble -- but this line has been suspect all year.
We're just now seeing what happens when we actually try to play real ball with them.

We can't protect him forever, and if you're thinking long term (which Muschamp isn't) -- he has got to throw the goddamn ball. A lot.
This is the time to do it, our defense was playing tough all game, we had a lead for a decent amount of time.
Thankfully, like I said, we'll get a real HC.

I know it was but -- we did this against Georgia. Hoped to shorten the game, protect Harris. It wouldn't have changed much even if his hand was perfect.

If his hand was hurt that bad you don't keep running him on QB power plays between the tackles. Terrible excuse.

Also a valid observation.

I suspect he would have passed a bit more were it not hurt, but who knows really?
