All time gator great in college. Didn't get a fair shake in the NFL, but it wasn't because his religious beliefs like many wanted to believe.

Gator great. He could definitely be in the NFL still. Media loves to make a story out of everything he does.

I think it was bullshite how he was treated, and he could easily be useful in the NFL -- I know a lot of people hate this statement but: I wish he would have went to Jacksonville -- I would have went to watch games if he had.

Life is not fair. Deal with it. He will be successful so in whatever he chooses to do.

Exactly. He'll still be making good money and there'll be a lower risk of him getting a majory injury or causing serious damage to the brain.

Could be a blessing in disguise for Tebow.

Eh, he just got shafted -- got no respect or credit for his wins and was constantly downed. Although I do agree that he may have a safer life now -- I would love to hear him commentate on a game.

EDIT: He can't be worse than the dudes yesterday.

I thought he provided excellent commentary during the Kentucky game. Wish the dude was still playing football though even if it was at fullback.

Now I know this is gonna shock the world but -- I didn't think he was that bad of a quarterback. He made plays when he needed to, won games at the end (that were directly attributed to his play) and seemed to give everything he had.

That would have been an interesting fit, too. I hope Tebow is involved more with Gator football in the future.

I will never forgive Jacksonville for not giving him a chance. Went from a fan to a hater. Good luck in London, Jags. Need help packing?

i think he got a fair shake, he was given plenty of opportunity to play a different position. he could still be in the nfl if he wanted to be, just not as a qb.

Seriously, the Jags should have gotten him in a heartbeat. Like I said: I would have gone to the games even if he was on the bench, and I know a bunch of other Gator fans would have went to watch him as well.

Most people say he'd make an excellent TE or FB or some shite like that, but the dude can throw. Even if it's unorthodox, he was still pretty accurate and his running ability kept a bunch of defenses honest. When you need an LB to take him down, that opened up the field quite a bit.

Accurate in college yes in an Urban Meyers offense with elite talent on offense. In the NFL he had a 47.9% completion percentage I wouldnt go out saying he was accurate. He is a true leader with a strong will to succeed. I think the way the media covered him is the sole reason he is not in the NFL. Plus the jets used him as a publicity stunt so Rex Ryan can discuss his foot fettish to a broader market. As for his coverage on the SEC network I liked it until the Bama LSU game when he said playing in the swamp is nice but nothing compares to LSU. Throw us a bone Tim.

I think if he would have considered playing at a different position, he'd still be in the NFL.

If that was pride, I think it is slightly ironic. If he just isn't interested in football beyond the QB position and money isn't enough to entice him into playing a position that holds no interest for him, then I get that.
