This week needs to be about our toilet paper soft defense manning up to stop the rushing game of Mizzu. If we can’t scheme to shut down Badie the game is a disaster. Don’t worry about Bazalak through the air, just force him to throw and TOs will happen.

Mizzu was running the counter quite a bit. I wonder if we can stop a couple of those finally.

Mizzou is a toss up, but FSU will do the job imo.

Mullen is 34-14 at FL, Jimbo is about to be 33-13 at aTm. Mullen took over a 4 win program, Fisher took over a 8-win program.
But one gets so much more negativity and hate from his fan base & media than the other.
Recruiting is the only reason I can think of for this.

Yeah a few people have commented on this. Jimbo gives that A&M fanbase hope. With Mullen, we are looking at an uphill rebuild with a transition like recruiting class.

Recruiting is the leading indicator. It's what gives the fanbase optimism and a glimpse of what the future can look like.

I think at this point he finishes the season. Nothing gained for firing him next week with one game left. I think if Brian Johnson was still here, DM wouldve been gone already but with DM being the HC / OC its a tough thing to do with noone else who can do the job

Speaking of having one job to do, it's absurd this got this out of control. All he had to do was have a transparent, real investigation and act like he gave a shite even if he didn't really.

Newbauer should have been fired for being a shitty coach. Extending him in the first place should have raised red flags, but extending him in light of all this other information? The guy can't be trusted to run the UF AD.

or loses, one or both and gets fired.
I am ok with either option at this point.

We were a 10 win talent team that went 4-8 and we also play in the East which has been destroyed by the West I think every year but about one since around 2008. Georgia in 2017 is the only East team to win the SEC in the past 12 years I think. Having said that I do think Jimbo has been underachieving in the West compared to what A&M thought they were getting.
