UK Defense Playing Like a Middle School

Wheres the UK defense we played against? AU is having their way and White has all fricking night to pick out targets. I mean the DL sucks for UK...did they suffer some serious injuries? Even though UK is in the east with 1 loss...I wanted them to beat AU...still a half to go.
Towles is good...but he just loses focus and has brain cramps at times. The pick in the end zone is typical. He had open flare pass to a RB or TE in left flat...but wanted to thread the needle for TD....greed is not something a great qb should exhibit.

UK hasn't lost 28 straight against Auburn.

Geez. Have been doing quite well lately too.
UK now has 2 Ls in SEC play and even if we lost 2 games we have tiebreaker. UGA is the only possible team between us and Hotlanta....they still have to play UK too.

UF was not the same team they are now when they played UK.
At least 28 players made their first ever road trip in that game.

Bo...that may be true about the team having a lot of youth for our road game for UK...their defense was quicker and definitely stouter than last nights game against AU. Maybe it was the 28, now 29 game losing streak?
I do know one thing...Stoops needs to control himself on the sidelines...he did this last year too when he starts yelling at asst coaches. That is not how you do things...not in front of players...his OC kept getting an earful and partly because he was so close to Stoops on the sidelines...I'd back off and would be far enough away that his headset couldnt reach me Shannon Dawson is a first yr OC at UK and he wont last long being yelled at like last night....he did start giving some of the verbal abuse back to Stoops in 4th qt.
But OC had poor play calling with under 2 minutes and no timeouts...back to back runs on 2nd and 3rd downs and 2-3 yds for first down to stop clock...bad decision. Towles is a junior and should have had plenty of coaching about under 2 minute drills. You cant throw short with no timeouts and the WR covered where they cant reach sidelines. Better to throw ball away...6 yds doesnt help you when you lose 40 seconds.
I just looked through Athlon, Lindys and Sporting news and none had UK predicted higher than 6th in the east. Of course we were about 4th. Predictions are worthless in August and look no further than AU as prime example. Just love the stupidity of predicting bowl games in July...its laughable to know that people will repeat those predictions as gospel. Almost all the predictions are based on last years results...period. Next year we will get the limelight and have our belly rubbed.

Kentucky, i wanted to pull for them, wanted to believe but they are, at the end of the day, the still the same old Kentucky. QB plays great then throws a horrible pass at random, receivers make great catches then drop the easy ones, defense make a great stop then completely blows coverage.
Really, it is better for UF that Kentucky lost, we now have a 3 game lead on them with the tie-breaker along with Vandy, USCe, Tenn, Mizzou. We can focus on UG as our only challenger in the East, but i wanted to see Kentucky take the next step, for the UK fans.
