I like that Top Billing isn't a Gator fan but is unbiased and he does film studies for other teams.

IMO if it would have been Jefferson or Cleveland they would have fought hard for that ball in the end zone...Grimes doesn't show me a lot and there was a post some time ago he would go pro after this year and that aint happening unless Grimes wants to deliver furniture. He would go undrafted and needs another year to improve separation from DBs.

I like that we used Gouriage at LOT and LOG quite a bit and then put in Delance when Emory came in..WTH? He did do a little better but he also had help double teaming most of the time. I feel after the Towson game we may see Gouriage start games going forward.

When Mullen came on the field during a break in the action he was really pissed at the OL for mistakes and was yelling at them. I likie.

Cleveland no doubt wins that ball. He is so good with 50/50 balls.

Crazy how much of the middle of the field Trask used yesterday. Makes me wonder if Mullen changed the play calls or if Franks didn’t see the middle of the field well.

Take what the defense gives ya. It was wide open.

Interested to see how offense evolves. Mullen said during offseason considered visiting Mike Leach, knowing potential of #Gators passing game. 'Maybe to study that stuff a little bit more and just open it up. Get it to your best players, put them in position to make plays.'

It's one of my biggest complaints about him -- almost all of his throws are to the perimeter. I've always said any defense can shut our offense down if they simply play CBs close, safety in the box and one guy up top. Just stack us up and hope Franks can't make the correct read.

You will get murdered by Trask if you try that.

Not sure if I'm allowed to post the entire article here (paid site...), but this is Will Sammon from The Athletic with a very thorough analysis on Trask's performance - strengths and weaknesses - from yesterday.

Sammon is a very good follow btw - great stuff covering the Gators. He is very high on Trask's upside.

I get the catchable ball comparison. Seemed like the WRs had no issues catching the passes in terms of the velocity he was throwing with.

Do you have a link about Mullen saying he wants to talk to Leach? Mullen embracing more of a passing attack (like Meyer did his last year of OSU) would be music to my ears.

I believe I have heard him say that he played for the Gators in the UF D vs Miami breakdown.

He just likes breaking down film.

I copied a post I believe it was from one of our reporters.

This is very similiar to the play to Pitts over the middle with the wr dragging underneath.
Not saying he actually talked to Leach but not saying he didnt either.

he does film studies for almost every SEC team not named Vandy and also does OOC film studies. Its usually the same thing "look at the product placement" and its because if u look he does have advertisers. But I like to hear him point out the nuances of blocking and WRs routes....and little things like footwork....and he will point out bad plays that are the result of poor blocking.

I think he is a dawg fan but keeps everything unbiased and his "product placement" is $$

Actually just googled him and he is a dawg...but its still a great film study, he did UGAs spring game, Michigan games etc etc. I have no problem with someone who works hard and earns some $$

Trask is much more comfortable with throws over the middle than Feliepe who like to throw out routes. That will benefit Pitts/other TEs and the slot receivers.
