Losing 1 or 2 players for doing dumb shite happens at almost any school. Losing 9 players or how many it was is unheard of. How many times have you ever seen that happen? Hell this shite is worst than UNC. Calloway was a screw up since he got here. He clearly never learned his lesson. It's up to the coaches to properly discipline the players to prevent recurrence. Hell, maybe if Calloway was off the team the others wouldn't have screwed up as well. Something tells me he was the ring leader of this bullshite.

A coach has to have a pulse on the team. You need to have players that are accountable to each other and the coaches. They self direct and discipline each other. Nothing happens in a vacuum. You need players to step up and call out perpetrators. This happened on Mac's watch and he is ultimately responsible for what HIS players do. We all have kids and some will do dumb shite but if they do the parents still have to take some responsibility. There's certain things I know my kids won't do. They just won't do it because they were disciplined.

You might be right, but I mean, they made an adult choice. There's not much more you can do -- you give them a curfew, you tell them to not do dumb shite and they do dumb shite.

Younger guys got roped into it, now the entire team has seen this -- and they goin' to jailfied-jail if convicted.

There is some accountability, but this isn't like McElwain is telling them: Hey guys, I know your scholarship provides you everything -- go steal credit card numbers so you can get a little more.

I'm still shocked they were that stupid to do so, and even some very young players on the team. I think if something like this does happen again -- I'd go as far as to say fire McElwain.

Evereyone remembers Peter Warrick?

Everyone remembers Jameis ''Crab Legs'' Winston?

Arrests happen all the time all over the country for a variety of different lessons -- shite, Cam fricking retard Newton stole someone's fricking laptop.

9 players is pretty crazy, though.

The NCAA did away with athletic dorms and that was a mistake. The smaller schools complained they couldn't compete (why the hell don't they spend the #@%&! money?) with bigger schools. Once they did that, coaches could no longer watch over them. HC cant be at the fricking bookstore 7 days a week.

The students haven't even been found guilty yet. I know Talla-lassie (as in old TV show), they would have been through the system quick. But when student athletes hire legal help....wheels are slow to turn.

I have a better idea, why don't you spend your time on the Leg Humper board. Fuc* Georgia!

Gators own the dogs and the ownership is gonna continue Saturday. 21-27 and counting. The only Gator coach that couldn't beat UG since the 1050s was Muschump and that's because he was a dog himself, Loser.

Dont move the goalposts, you said that Coaches are responsible for players both on and off the field.

One alabama player broke team rules and was kicked off the team. 10%, maybe more, commited felony fraud and have yet to be dismissed. There is a huge difference between breaking team rules and violating the penal code :rotfl:

Come on man, it's bad form to go on another team board and call out regular users

You're gonna get us all kicked off if you keep this up

Commanding lead in the Fulmer Cup for sure one would have to think...

And yeah, while it's fun to give you guys shite... not a ton that Mac could do to stop 9 guys from going ape shite retarded on one of the easiest crimes to track... can maybe fault him for not getting higher character guys, but this seems more likely to be a case of one idiot convincing other susceptible idiots to follow suit in all likelihood... much like the check double cashing scheme that a few UGA players tried a couple of years ago and were kicked off the team for (you're welcome Auburn...).

Also, +1... no more calling out posters on their own board 912... just bad form. Besides, you're bad at it...

You are fricking delusional.

You are comparing 9 guys committing credit card fraud to 1 guy getting kicked off the team at Alabama?

I actually said the coach is ultimately responsible for the players - that includes Saban.

He's just better apparently at keeping his starters out of trouble.

Really man? So only starters matter?

Dont get your panties in a bunch. You said the Coach is responsible for all of his players actions, on and off the field using the latest suspensions against Mac. I bring up Saban saying hes had his share to disprove your rant and you, once again, move the goalposts saying he keeps his starters out of trouble. Sad man, beyong pathetic the way you sound right now.

On the field, yes. The coach is in charge. What happens there either he taught or allows. Off the field, no way in hell a HC is gonna keep hands on every aspect of what 80 kids aged 18-22 are doing in their own time. Starters included

Every single coach has one off kids in trouble. Every single one. How many have 9 in trouble for something as serious as cc fraud?

Does Saban have 9 in trouble that i missed somehow?

Oh no he lost a back up wr for some reason. Oh no the horror clearly he has no control over his team.

I’m not shitting on Mac for losing one guy. Like dismissing amac in 2015. It happens. Losing 9 guys for cc fraud and also losing your Star qb to peds is NUTS.

How many coaches lose their star qb, rb, and wr in a 2 year period for off the field issues?

I’ll hang up and wait while you think up some other bull shite response.

Common theme...
2013 Alabama - OC - Doug Nussmeier
2017 Florida - OC - Doug Nussmeier

Clearly he's the problem... (/sarcasm)
