Very close

UF 10-16 passing 108 yds
LSU 9-15 125

UF rushing 194 yds 38 carries
LSU 216 48 carries

And before anyone starts with the " we should have thrown more crap" we couldn't protect Franks.

The stats reflect how close the game was.

This is the game where they should have let Toney throw a pass as a quarterback

And just think this is the worst LSU team in about 8 years. They do have great wins against 3-3 Syracuse, 1-5 BYU, 1-5 Chattanooga and of course now us. That right before us a combined 5-13. I'm just glad to know our staff couldn't develop a plan to out throw the crazy talented Danny Etling.

WE SHOULD HAVE RUN THE MOTHER frickING BALL.

WITH DAVIS.

A LOT MORE.

The passing game works at like a 9th grade level at best.

We shoulda done exactly what we did to Kentucky in the 4th quarter, but we pissed it away trying to dink and dunk a team WHO IS STRONG AGAINST THE DINK AND DUNK.

This "they lost to little sisters of the poor" crap is so wrong. Maryland drummed Texas in Austin....then today Ohio State drops 60+ on Maryland and I could go on and on. You cant compare losses or wins...every week is different.

Are we short handed? Yeah, did Mac go and use the school credit cards to sell books and crap? No. Did he injure Marcell Harris? No.

Our defense needed turnovers and we got none....but we also didnt turn it over either.

We were like 1-6 on third downs in the first half, that's a losing stat. Franks will mature and get better and he needs the OL to step up. Again...imo the center and RT are weak links overall. They made some decent plays but when the center is unable to even budge the nose tackle time and time again...its a problem for our run game.

LSU is bad. UF should not have lost to them at home.

Defense did their job. Offense lost the game. Again.

PS Will Grier just had his 3rd 300 yard game in a row, and now has 16 TDs and over 1700 yards passing this year.

Grier has to be very happy with his choice to leave just like the rest of the QBs who left and did well.

The one thing I would give this staff credit for is that they have improved the talent on offense , it's to bad they don't have A game plan for the improved talent. I think a new good OC or HC would turn this offen around fast.

Will Grier is playing in a shitty conference where defense is optional.

Here are some cool stats. 109th in pace of play. 125th in plays per game. 114th in punt return yards. 96th in penalties. 98th in % of plays resulting in a TD/FG. 97th in 3rd down conversions. 123rd in 1st downs.

Hey good news we broke 100 in some of these.

17-16 is the ONLY stat that matters.

Another one that won’t show on the stat sheet; Mac got out coached by Orgeron. Terrible.

This.

We lost to the worst LSU team in over 20 years. Think about that.
