After the way our games are going this season I cant defend this staff anymore. Today was a straight up shitshow. The team came out flat and looked like zombies just going through the motions.
Why is it nearly every team this season starting a Fr QB has him looking like a QB yet our guys look lost as hell and cant complete simple passes?
Texas
TT had a guy come off the bench and throw 3 tds
USCe for fricks sake has a damn HS QB lighting it up
Yet here we are, the Florida Gators. And cant find a guy who can complete a damn 10 yard post or crossing route.

I hated the muschamp hire. But i still supported the team. I never hope we lose for a coaching change to happen. Thats not being a fan imo
I didnt know much about Mac but I was like ok, lets see what this guy can do.
frick that!
We need a real offensive guy to lead this team, to hell with all this we gotta be a pro style team bs. Ill take anyone who can put our guys in situations to make plays.
Either that or go to Macs house and suit up Clarabelle since apparently she can win games in this offense.

I have more, but this will do for now.
End rant

In defense of South Carolina, they did happen to play Mizzou this week and that defense is absolutely atrocious.

That aside, this is easily the worst coached game of McElwain's whole tenure. It was abysmal.

I just don't see things getting better the recruiting on offense has been sub par other than Pineiro the kicker and Calloway

USC QB had a better game against them than LDR by a large margin.

Post Game Grades by Dooley

Offense F
First half: Take away the 36 yards on two late dump-off passes that were irrelevant and Florida had 68 yards in the first half and no points.
Second half: Florida’s third quarter was abysmal (two first downs) and the fourth quarter was almost meaningless.
For the game: This was a giant egg the Gator offense laid and begs the question about the possibility of a change at quarterback
Defense D
First half: Arkansas made good use of the bye week coming up with a great game plan to put 267 yards on the board.
Second half: Injuries to Florida’s top two tacklers definitely played a part in the defense’s demise, but it was still amazing to watch UF being picked apart.
For the game: Florida came into the game leading the nation in the number of plays of 10+ yards allowed. On Saturday, the Gators allowed 16. That’s a lot.
Special teams C
First half: If Antonio Callaway hadn’t stepped out of bounds on one punt return he might have gone all the way.
Second half: Johnny Townsend had an uneven game, but still finished with a 44.4 average. Nice field goal by Eddy Pineiro.
For the game: Florida had two fumbles on special teams that didn’t end up in Arkansas hands, but they still happened.
Overall D-
Jim McElwain talked about how concerned he was in the summer to see this game in November. He had no idea how bad it would be. It was an absolute flop in a game Florida needed badly.
