These Gator team is going to kick some major azz...dont even think about some of tjhe misplays...Franks is a true frosh and Trask is also....you cant expect much yet. Grier was a redshirt frosh last year.

Its clear to me from the game that Del Rio is better than Appleby but Appleby hasnt had the offense hand fed for an extra year yet. We both so we can redshirt Franks and Trask. Franks needs to put on 20 lbs at least and hit that weight room...Trask is a gamer and can really run well. The future is bright for them and for Del Rio...but remember we NEED a # 2 QB and Appleby is definitely that guy. The offense is much much better than last year even with Grier because of the OL & RB corp...expect to see our # 24 Mark Thompson kill some SEC defenses with his size and speed...remember he is a junior but still needs to work out the overall scheme better and he is almost there.

Defense? Dont let this game fool you...defense didnt hit as hard as they will come Sept. We are going to have a great chance to win every game with our FG kicker Fast Eddie, he can hit em from 60 distance wise, no problemo.
Dre Massey is going to be a good one at WR. Josh Hammond played defense AND offense...ditto Jalen Tabor.

Ok...my prediction after watching Del Rio with his accuracy...11-1 folks. Im serious.

Del Rio it is! I will give Appleby some credit though he was going against the ones while Del Rio was slinging against the twos. Goolsby and Cyontai excite the shite out of me. That duo at TE is gonna open up the run game and help the receivers out so much.

Del Rio will start.

Trask or Appleby will back him up.

Franks will RS.

Everything's sunshine and rainbows in the spring. What a glorious time.

Thought Del Rio looked pretty good. Franks not so much but if you don't have to get him on the field and can red shirt him, could still develop into something.

Was very impressed with the new kicker. Really has some oomph. Was hoping for another open tryout this year dammit.

Fast Eddie has kicked a 70 yarder in practice...he just might be able to do 65 yds in a game...teams better stop us outside their 42 yd line...thats a 59 yder from the 42.

Accuracy goes down when distance added and you dont want teams starting from their own 45 yd line...but I can see HC Mac giving Fast Eddie a chance for a 60+ in a blowout type game.

Give the All SEC kicker award to Eddie now.

As you all can tell...Im buying stock in this team.

As soon as I saw a QB complete a pass and a Kicker hit a FG I turned it off. We good.

Del Rio threw a bullet to Dre Massey and he had that play read like the palm of his hand...quick decision maker.

It's amazing how quickly the talent at the skill position on offense has flipped under McElwain.

If the OL is just average, UF should have a really solid offense.

Latin Jesus is probably the most important addition. I feel like he will make everything from inside 50.

Winner of UF/UGA will play in Atlanta.

I agree, Del Rio is the key. From what i saw Friday night, he is better than I expected. He made accurate throws, quick decisions, hit dump off when pressured. He is not just a game manager but can win us some games.

It was awesome to see kicks go thru the uprights, #15 could also win us a game when needed. I like the number too, tired of kickers with d-line numbers.

Recievers only dropped one pass, big improvement and we have some talent that hasn't arrived yet.

Running backs will be solid

O-line looks to be deeper and better.

D will dominate.

I would say we will go 11-1 but don't know who we will lose to, so 12-0. Go Gators

Got a strange feeling Tennessee finally beats us but we still end up in Atlanta

Well in 1992 we lost early to Moo State & UT in ugly games and we were starting TWO true frosh OTs...Jason Odom and Reggie Green plsu had a young Kevin Carter on the DL..we had lost a lot from the 1990-91 squads....and Spurriers first recruiting class was ehhh. But by midseason Spurrier had coach up the team and we were winning...upsetting UGA on Halloween night to win the east as it turned out. It was a huge deal because instead of UT or UGA being in the first ever SECCG...Gators got to play outdoors in B'ham and lost to eventual NC Bama that year.

The moral of the story is you dont quit...anything can happen...UT has to play Bama. We will beat LSU at home this year...but UT beating Bama? 11-1 is my pick...so I think we will be in Hotlanta.
