Just read on Facebook he's not going to be on the field.
Does this really make a difference with his employment status? Or is Mac trying to look like he's doing something to fix this offense?

He's not going to be on the field meaning he's been fired is the only way the offense gets better.

Honestly, I think it means that McElwain is taking more responsibility of the offense. We saw the same thing with Roeper when he was at Florida with Muschamp (Muschamp loved him some offensive coordinating).
Hopefully, it will be improved by Saturday.
