I'm not sure what you are talking about, I was just saying IMO we don't need more mutt fans on the Gator board.

He is a Florida fan, and if he turns out not to be just kick him off. I don't mind having other fans on here, but we don't need someone propagating some kind of silly masquerade.
Is it difficult to kick someone off the Gator board or something? I don't know why you wouldn't give everyone a chance to prove they can keep it toned down over here for the activity and then ixnay the troublemakers.
This board is for the enjoyment of Florida fans, and I enjoy discussing sports with fans of other teams, especially if they try and get along and not be complete jack wagons.
I can take a little razzing. I am not going to melt over it. But I don't need some idiot hating on the Gators all the time on this board either. That is what the rant is for.

well, he only had 1 post when he first requested access. 100 may be a bit of a stretch. 50 is doable and he's pretty close to that now.

I was actually here before, I just lost access to the other account. But as far as my history as a Gator goes, I guess you could say I was somewhat born into it, my mom (god rest her soul) and uncle attended UF and I've been going to games at Swamp with my family since I was 10 years old. (87' season) My formative years as a football fan were absolutely some of the best years of my life. And although I'm technically a Jacksonville Dolphin, (and a proud one at that) I'm a Gator at my core.

I like the beat writers and a lot of big recruiting news breaks from there. And there are a few posters who contribute good insight. Even some of the trolls are funny, but a large part of the active posters on that forum are terrible

Holy crap, a fellow JU grad! I barely post here or on the Rant - mostly lurk - but had to chime in when I saw that. Class of ‘07 but, much like you, a Gator at heart from being raised all my life in a Gator fan family with a few cousins/nephews with degrees from there now. Attended a ton of home games as a kid and still try to make a few each year as I can.
