Ok...heres some of what I noticed...first my liver is so pizzed at me.

We had Ivey play about 55-60% of snaps when we Dillard out at center and inserted Thurman so Ivey could slide into guard position.

The best thing I saw was Thomas Holley, our 5 star DL...who played quite a bit after we had lead....glad he is ok and he gives us 11 DL to rotate now. We are continually putting fresh legs in the game and we wear folks out....and especially QBs who are in danger for their lives with fresh legs chasing them.

OL didnt have a good game and I'll give them a pass since they were playing against a damn good DL & the best LBs in the SEC. In most of the first half Mizzou used a standard 4 man front on defense and Grier ate them up, so when you review game...you will see in the second half they didnt care about our run game and started bringing the house...which was really why Grier struggled so much. We need to get that cleaned up before saturday and realize he is going to get heat early and often. Id rather we played max protect and not lose our QB to an injury.

Special teams as far as kicking hurt us again. The out of bounds kickoff led their FG as I recall. Again #4 Powell has got to realize that its a lot better to bring it out to 25 yd line and even when the kickoff goes to 1 or 2 yd line, our blockers arent getting it done and we have started too many series inside our 20. That hurts our offense. The missed FGs are going to bite us sooner or later in a pressure packed game at the end.

Our offense was dominant until Mizzou figured out they had to do something rather than play zones 80% of the time. DRob was on fire and really has performed well. So has Powell and Fulwood made clutch grab.

To add thoughts on where we are now: We have already won the east unless a huge meteor hits Gainesville. We could lose two games and still win out against UT...UK is a threat and we have to lose two games....ditto UGA and the mutts are fluffy play toys.

I think we beat LSU and have felt that way for a long time. It will propel us to top 5 status and our eyes should be on the prize. LSU is going to be a fun game to watch...they cannot sustain anything if they get 2 scores down. Our defense is FAST....LF isnt playing the sisters of the poor anymore. We will run blitz all night trying to disrupt him. Beat LSU and we are 7-0 with week off to prepare for WLOCP and the leghumpers. The girls school is shite and USC nothing...Vandy is at home...its a roadmap.
Turned down for what? No body talked about UF in August, I was doing slow simmer...hate the disrepect. Only a few players mentioned for All SEC honors....well....muddf'ers can you hear us now?
Who is the best QB in the SEC? Think about it and its a no brainer. Please dont tell me that inaccurate QB at Moo State. Jesse Palmer last night kept mentioning how accurate Grier is and how he throws before receiver turns around. If we keep him protected...he is lethal.

Did anyone notice we went to a "Bear" front on defense a few times?

Wonder if that was a prep for the running games of LSU and UGA.

EDIT: Hopefully Morrison is good to go for next week, otherwise our LB situation will be in dire straits...

Another Edit lol:

Anyone remember what the talk about UF was a month ago?

UF has no QB. McElwain was too hard on Kelvin Taylor. UF has no playmakers. UF has the worst OL in the SEC.

My how times have changed.

SECR is made up of fans who desperately want to believe their own narrative that they completely ignored the Muschamp affect.

One thing I noticed last night was this. The oline this year has been better at pass protection than run blocking. Last night while the line seemed to take a step back in pass protection (mainly because of the Dline they went up against) that was the first game they seemed to manhandle people at run blocking. That's got me really excited.

LSU is the best team we have left on our schedule. Still can't believe this team has a legitimate shot at 11-1 or 12-0...

Some more thoughts about the game last night. I noticed my homeboy Jordan Sherit # 17 was in the game a lot at DE. He is just starting to grasp everything and look out next year.

Taven Bryan played a lot # 93 at DE also...especially in 2nd half...# 54 Khairi Clark also played some at DE and has been in games for brief series. Bryan & Clark will be r/s soph next year and Sherit will be r/s jr. We will be LOADED at the DL with only Bullard a senior this year. # 13 Daniel McMillian played some snaps and will be r/s sr next year at LB. # 40 Jarrad Davis is a junior LB this year and one of my favorite players. Justus Reed played some at DE # 97 and of course CeCe Jefferson # 96 did some good things. The true frosh qb for Mizzou never stood a chance with our pass rush.

The future is bright.

Hopefully having 50 DLineman keeps us fresh for the 400 rush attempts LSU's gonna throw at us this week.

Is there no update anywhere about Morrison Going to have to wait for Mac's presser tomorrow.
